I took my 20' Argosy to Sean for a fix up job in August, I was so very excited to have found a diamond in the rough and even more thrilled to have met someone like Sean I have been in the area for many years and always admired his shop on the outside It was exciting to have a gem of my own and bring business to a local workman I talked with Sean on what I'd like done and he drew a contract I happily signed the contract dated August 20, and put down the required down payment My dream "Big Girl Play-House" on wheels was coming true I named her "Betty Lou" after my grandmother We had big plans to travel America's beautiful country together The contract became active August 20, The date to be complete was September, There was a list of cosmetic items as well as a "needed" itemHowever, it was more like a "Honey Do List" to a professional The only needed item were the outside lights used for traveling needed to be repaired Fall, came and went Whenever I would go to the local feed store, I would stop and check on Betty Lou Sean and I would sometimes visit for up to hours I would even go to the local brewery, buy and bring him lunch He would sometimes show me the cool trailers he was working on over a beer (that I would buy before going to see him) It was fun going to the shop and seeing such cool trailers But, things got old My trailer wasn't getting worked on It was just sitting there Getting no love, like promised Suddenly, my calls were never returned; when I would go in the shop, he was "too busy" to see me.....I was getting antsy and perturbed I was getting jacked around and didn't like it one bit I started picking up on Sean's dishonesty when he would have time to see me when I would stop in Finally, October, Sean said my build was completed On October 18, 2015, two years after our contracted build date, he delivered it to my house He arrived with a heard of people who I did not know It was dark outside but I immediately noticed things not right Sean said, "give me a punch card and bring it to the shopI'll come back out with my tools and complete the job You owe me $*,***" The next morning I went out and filled out the extensive list of items that he needed to still do I went to his shop to give him the punch card He knew I was there and wouldn't even come over and say "Hi" I gave the punch card to a shop worker and never heard from Sean again Fast forward to June 29, 2016, my trailer I was so excited about still isn't completed per Sean and I's contract Sean has my hard earned money, what does he care? That's how this man runs his business Be very cautious and careful working with him He is not honest I will be completing his unfinished contracted projects myself I will say, the cedar counter top is gorgeous, the paint job is flawless (though incomplete) and the floors he replaced are beautiful The outside traveling lights, weren't on when he drove into my driveway because of a lame excuse he gave I feel terrible about leaving a bad review But then I think about how I was treated in the end Betrayed Lied to If you are going to have a trailer worked on by Vintage Travelers Airstream Restoration, I recommend to have your attorney correspond with Sean Maybe then, you're contract will be fulfilled

We dropped our trailer off in Fall of to get a number of things fixed: frame welding, aluminum belly repair, window replacement, floor replacement, bumper repairWe paid a considerable amount down and were expected to have the trailer back before Christmas Christmas came around and the trailer had not been touchedOur parents went to the shop and paid for the window replacement as our Christmas giftOver the course of the time our trailer was in the shop, we called the owner over times to get information about the status of the job and calls were rarely answered or returned In March of we found out we were expecting a baby and I finally snapped, knowing that we had to get the trailer done soon in order to be ready for our childI called and left a message, literally crying and begging the owner to call me back and finish our trailer so that we would be able to fix it up in timeHe texted us back and would only communicate via text from there forward Long story short, we picked up our trailer in June and the only thing that had been accomplished was some minor frame weldingThe owner was not there (we were not surprised he had deliberately avoided us) and we were not required to pay the remaining balance because it was so obvious nothing had been done The floor is missing in the back and the floor in the front was not replacedThe windows that our parents paid for are still missing and only one of the two was even provided to us (but not installed)The belly is still torn up, and the back bumper is still separated from the shell I am so disappointed and the stress of having to finish the trailer ourselves in months while I am pregnant is overwhelmingI cannot begin to explain how sad and angry I am that this experience ended up being so very different from what we expectedWe really liked the owner after we met him and thought he would be a great contact to maintain throughout the course of our projectWe were tricked, swindled and misled by this business and would highly recommend that anyone looking for airstream repair go somewhere-anywhere else to get their work donePlease don't fall victim to the same lies we did-you will lose considerable amounts and time and money if you do business here

After three years of waiting for my Airstream and not seeing adequate progress I decided to pull the trailer, maybe 1/done no refund of my money and missing an item supplied by me and missing two tires that were removed and replaced with dry rotted ones Am filing in small claims court this week! Very poor quality and serviceHas the knowledge just a bad business man!

In I met with Sean O'M*** at Vintage Travelers about a restortation project on my Airstream travel trailer We signed a contract with estimates and a timeline of 6-months for completion I made a sizeable down payment (BIG MISTAKE) and after months the trailer was still in the same condition when I took it to Sean Do NOT believe this guy He will promise you the stars and that's all he knows Please call the Blanco County Clerk's office before you consider doing any business with this place The clerks all know about this guy!!!

I hired Shawn, owner of Vintage AIrstream to simply fix a leak in my Classic Airstream that was making carpet completely wet. He came out a total of 5 times and I was charged a minimum of $200 each visit. Each time he would fix something different and charge me but the leak continued. He agreed to come out this last week on Tuesday to fix it. When I stopped in his shop to see what time, He actually screamed that he would kick my [redacted] and that he ate people like me for breakfast and threatened me with a sander. I was shocked to say the least. I simply left but am in the process of involving the police and also going to take him to court to recoup my losses! Be warned! He is a bully and cheat and my guess is that he is under the influence of drugs. Terrible terrible experience.

I took my 1972 20' Argosy to Sean for a fix up job in August, 2013. I was so very excited to have found a diamond in the rough and even more thrilled to have met someone like Sean. I have been in the area for many years and always admired his shop on the outside. It was exciting to have a gem of my own and bring business to a local workman. I talked with Sean on what I'd like done and he drew a contract. I happily signed the contract dated August 20, 2013 and put down the required down payment. My dream "Big Girl Play-House" on wheels was coming true. I named her "Betty Lou" after my grandmother. We had big plans to travel America's beautiful country together. The contract became active August 20, 2013. The date to be complete was September, 2013. There was a list of cosmetic items as well as a "needed" item. However, it was more like a "Honey Do List" to a professional. The only needed item were the outside lights used for traveling needed to be repaired.
Fall, 2013 came and went. Whenever I would go to the local feed store, I would stop and check on Betty Lou. Sean and I would sometimes visit for up to 2 hours. I would even go to the local brewery, buy and bring him lunch. He would sometimes show me the cool trailers he was working on over a beer (that I would buy before going to see him). It was fun going to the shop and seeing such cool trailers. But, things got old. My trailer wasn't getting worked on. It was just sitting there. Getting no love, like promised. Suddenly, my calls were never returned; when I would go in the shop, he was "too busy" to see me.....I was getting antsy and perturbed. I was getting jacked around and didn't like it one bit. I started picking up on Sean's dishonesty when he would have time to see me when I would stop in.
Finally, October, 2015 Sean said my build was completed. On October 18, 2015, two years after our contracted build date, he delivered it to my house.
He arrived with a heard of people who I did not know. It was dark outside but I immediately noticed things not right. Sean said, "give me a punch card and bring it to the shop. I'll come back out with my tools and complete the job. You owe me $*,[redacted]". The next morning I went out and filled out the extensive list of items that he needed to still do. I went to his shop to give him the punch card. He knew I was there and wouldn't even come over and say "Hi". I gave the punch card to a shop worker and never heard from Sean again.
Fast forward to June 29, 2016, my trailer I was so excited about still isn't completed per Sean and I's contract. Sean has my hard earned money, what does he care? That's how this man runs his business. Be very cautious and careful working with him. He is not honest. I will be completing his unfinished contracted projects myself. I will say, the cedar counter top is gorgeous, the paint job is flawless (though incomplete) and the floors he replaced are beautiful. The outside traveling lights, weren't on when he drove into my driveway because of a lame excuse he gave. I feel terrible about leaving a bad review. But then I think about how I was treated in the end. Betrayed. Lied to. If you are going to have a trailer worked on by Vintage Travelers Airstream Restoration, I recommend to have your attorney correspond with Sean. Maybe then, you're contract will be fulfilled.

We dropped our trailer off in Fall of 2015 to get a number of things fixed: frame welding, aluminum belly repair, window replacement, floor replacement, bumper repair. We paid a considerable amount down and were expected to have the trailer back before Christmas.
Christmas came around and the trailer had not been touched. Our parents went to the shop and paid for the window replacement as our Christmas gift. Over the course of the time our trailer was in the shop, we called the owner over 50 times to get information about the status of the job and calls were rarely answered or returned.
In March of 2016 we found out we were expecting a baby and I finally snapped, knowing that we had to get the trailer done soon in order to be ready for our child. I called and left a message, literally crying and begging the owner to call me back and finish our trailer so that we would be able to fix it up in time. He texted us back and would only communicate via text from there forward.
Long story short, we picked up our trailer in June 2016 and the only thing that had been accomplished was some minor frame welding. The owner was not there (we were not surprised he had deliberately avoided us) and we were not required to pay the remaining balance because it was so obvious nothing had been done.
The floor is missing in the back and the floor in the front was not replaced. The windows that our parents paid for are still missing and only one of the two was even provided to us (but not installed). The belly is still torn up, and the back bumper is still separated from the shell.
I am so disappointed and the stress of having to finish the trailer ourselves in 5 months while I am pregnant is overwhelming. I cannot begin to explain how sad and angry I am that this experience ended up being so very different from what we expected. We really liked the owner after we met him and thought he would be a great contact to maintain throughout the course of our project. We were tricked, swindled and misled by this business and would highly recommend that anyone looking for airstream repair go somewhere-anywhere else to get their work done. Please don't fall victim to the same lies we did-you will lose considerable amounts and time and money if you do business here.

After three years of waiting for my Airstream and not seeing adequate progress I decided to pull the trailer, maybe 1/2 done no refund of my money and missing an item supplied by me and missing two tires that were removed and replaced with dry rotted ones. Am filing in small claims court this week! Very poor quality and service. Has the knowledge just a bad business man!
