When Hurricane Matthew passed I called Vinyl Industries and asked for an estimate for a gate on my fence they put up for me in I was told that someone would be there and they would get back to me ASAP Well it took numerous phone calls and a complete surprise when the gate was actually replaced I was unaware that anyone had actually come out to look at my gate for the estimate I was told that it would be replaced weeks after the hurricane weeks later it was put up with no contact at all saying they would be out to put it on I got a call from the billing department asking for a payment I asked if I could get an invoice for the repair I was told that when the gate was replaced I should have gotten one from the installer I was not home and was not aware they even came to do the job She told me that was not why she called and needed a form of payment Absolutely no kind of customer service at all Extremely disappointed
If you are female, be very wary of doing business with them. They arrived at my home and went on and on about how "well connected" they are to my specific HOA. On 3 separate occasions employees made reference to knowing my HOA so well that "they could bribe them with donuts." Fast forward 2 weeks after making a deposit and I called for an update. I was asked for my HOA contact information! They didn't know who to contact and hadn't even bothered in 2 weeks, after all that BS! Then a week later I called for an update and an employee told me verbatim, "I don't have time to deal with your HOA, they want me to resubmit the application. I have plenty of business I don't need yours, or the hassle of your HOA." I was shocked to say the least that a business would speak to me in such an unprofessional and rude manner simply because they were frustrated with my HOA. Simple communication goes a long way. If told about issues I could have attempted to communicate with the HOA from my end also. In this business surely dealing with HOAs is common? Anyhow, I calmly informed them I would be picking up my deposit the next day due to their unprofessional behavior. As I went to hang up I heard this employee say to another employee, "This is why I only deal with men." Vinyl Industries should invest in EEO and communication classes for their employees. I will never use nor recommend them for any project.
To Whom It May Concern:On 8/17/2017 Vinyl Industries went to [redacted] [redacted]'s home, andinspected their roof for a leak around the chimney. Upon inspection, the area behind the chimney was blocked with leaves and debris,(seepictures). Also the chimney cap rusted out and has holes,...
(seepicture). The roof was originally replaced in 2013, and we have a one year laborwarranty, (see contract). The service call was not due to workmanshipbut the home[redacted] not keeping the roof clean and free of debris. After inspecting the roof, Vinyl Industries offered to providepictures to [redacted], who stated it wasn't their roof andthat we were all liars! Vinyl Industries cleaned the roof at nocharge, but is not able to replace the chimney cap. Vinyl industriesis not responsible for the clean up of the roof or the replacement ofthe chimney cap.It is worth noting that in October 2016 hurricane [redacted] caused a lotof roof damages to [redacted]. The [redacted]'s need to have their insurancecompany inspect the roof, if they have not done so![redacted]Vinyl Industries of Savannah[redacted], [redacted] Toll Free[redacted]Fax
When Hurricane Matthew passed I called Vinyl Industries and asked for an estimate for a gate on my fence they put up for me in 2009. I was told that someone would be there and they would get back to me ASAP. Well it took numerous phone calls and a complete surprise when the gate was actually replaced. I was unaware that anyone had actually come out to look at my gate for the estimate. I was told that it would be replaced 6 weeks after the hurricane. 7 weeks later it was put up with no contact at all saying they would be out to put it on. I got a call from the billing department asking for a payment. I asked if I could get an invoice for the repair. I was told that when the gate was replaced I should have gotten one from the installer. I was not home and was not aware they even came to do the job. She told me that was not why she called and needed a form of payment. Absolutely no kind of customer service at all. Extremely disappointed.
