My name is Daniel G*** and am the Owner of Violation Removal Inc.In rebuttal, let it be known that as a company, we never send unwarranted solicitations, and we never send out any mailings with a threatening tone whatsoever, it is against our companies ethics rule. The public record shows that on
06/**/- *** * *** received a complaint that was referred to the NYC Department of Buildings for property *** *** *** ** *** - Complaint Number *** to be precise. Our firm, as a courtesy notifies property owners that their building has received a complaint, and simply notifies them of their available optionsI have copied to the Revdex.com mediator *** *** the letter which is sent out by the company and a screen shot of the complaint listed on the Department of Buildings website.I'd also like to note that *** *** is not a client, and has not in any way attempted to notify Violation Removal Incthat he does not wish to receive any more courtesy notifications from usWe are happy to make sure he does not receive any future notifications from our company.*** ***s complaint #*** was inspected by the Department of Buildings on 06/**/and the Inspector decided that the complaint recorded did not warrant a violation be issued, rendering his complaint closed or in the proper vernacular 'resolved'.Notwithstanding, a letter is automatically generated based on the public record, and his complaint was on that list and was properly sent as a courtesy, and I would agree that by the time it arrived by mail to *** *** there appeared to be no open complaint or violation, but that does not take away from the fact that is was a complaint that had merely been resolved quickly. We honor *** ***s request to not have any more courtesy notifications sent to him from our company any longer, and as such respectfully request closure of this Revdex.com complaint without prejudice, and without negatively impacting our very high rating.Thank you,MrDaniel JG***

Client entered into agreement on 7/*/14 engaging VRIs service. Client paid $540.00 to VRI, a partial payment of full invoice, specifically for court appearance services.
Client submitted copy...

of invoice that was provided by VRI to Client. Same invoice CLEARLY READS - "Terms: Court Appearance Fees Non-Refundable."
VRI has no further liability. Client created dispute fraudulently and without basis.
Despite VRI not having a legal obligation whatsoever to return funds to Client, VRI emphasizes high moral standards in its practice, and, as a company decided to offer a refund to Client although not legally bound to do so.
VRI requested from Client on multiple occasions, via email (available upon request), that Client provide a physical mail-to address, so that a refund check could be sent to Client. Client has refused each and every time. To further substantiate VRIs assertion, please see material false information provided to Revdex.com by Client in the Customer Information segment, where the Client states that its address is the legal location of the VRI office. Submitting materially false information should render this complaint/claim VOIDABLE.
Despite the facts, VRI is prepared to give refund to Client upon receipt of requested mail-to address. Client still refuses to give address.
RECAP: VRI not legally liable to refund Client. High moral standards practiced by VRI incline VRI to refund Client, regardless of the validity of such demand. VRI will refund upon receipt of mail-to address. Until said address is provided VRI is not responsible for refund arriving in timely manner.
Clients own uncooperativeness in this matter is the reason a refund has not been granted until this point.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

I went to the office of Violation Removal Inc 3 times to get a refund and they refuse to give a refund check in person.  I gave them a check and I want my check in person because [redacted] did not represent me in any case and did not perform any services at all.
The office is intimidating clients and trying to double bill.  I never asked for any additional services.  Violation Removal made up an invoice and then called me for payment.
I want to arrange a time to pick up my refund of $540.00 and I am not waiting 2 weeks in the mail for a refund.
My address is on the invoice and the house address, so [redacted] is stalling for time because his office is practicing fradulent behavior.

Review: I hired Violatoin Removal inc to represent me on a NYC Buildings violation case and look to find out if my bathroom and kitchen is legal in the basement. [redacted] secretary began calling me for more money and a the names and addresses of old people on [redacted] to intimidate them into not giving a letter stating that they know the previous owner and that the basement kitchen and bathroom is legal.I paid [redacted] $540.00 for the case representation and I decided that Violation Removal was not the right type of people to handle my case and his office refuses to refund me my money because no services have been performed.Desired Settlement: I want Violation Removal Inc to refund my $540.00 because no services were rendered and [redacted] will not represent me in any NYC Buildings case in court.
