When Ms*** came in for us to inspect the hair it was obvious that she had used a very heavy product on itWe do not recommend products that are too heavy, contain too much alcohol, or fragranceShe stated that this was a drugstore brand that she used and also showed me the productWe
especially do not recommend drugstore brands like the one she was using because they can cause irreparable damage to the hair. Hair care instructions are posted at check out and printed copies are available to our clients as a courtesy at time of check out.The texture of hair she purchased (kinky curly) is not a low maintenance hair and when bundles are applied at once like she did, you can expect to spend more time and effort maintaining itWhen she initially came in, the nape area was tangled and starting to mat which is an indicator of incorrect maintenanceMs *** stated that she was untangling her hair by separating it with her fingers which led to it not being untangling thoroughlyThis is especially the case in the nape area which is where more friction and sweat is common, therefore making this area more sensitive and high maintenance.We are not able to "guarantee" any of our items as we deal in human hair and are unable to do so based on the following:-the rapidly changing sources and market of the whole industry.-this is an organic item that cannot be replicated exactly each time.-there is no way of us knowing exactly what elements and maintenance the hair is being exposed to.Additionally, the quality and longevity of human hair directly correlates to the maintenance, treatment, and products used on it by the client. Ms *** states the hair "was not what was advertised".The hair was advertised as "Virgin Hair"Purchasing virgin hair does not mean that the proper maintenance is not required.No refunds or store credits are able to be given as our sales are final as stated on all sales receipts and posted at the register for all clients to see at time of checkout. While we do not offer refunds, a considerable discount was offered on a future purchase, Ms *** refused to even explore that option

What Ms*** fails to mention is that she is upset because we were not able to process a return for her due to the fact that the items were not in their original conditionThe closure that she attempted to return was torn in places and the extensions were not attached to their original
packagingWe do have pictures of the condition of the items she attempted to returnOur policy states that items cannot be returned or exchanged if they are not in their original conditionThis policy has been in effect for over years now, it is posted at the register, as well as printed on every single receiptManagement was never rude to her and we even offered her a referral to a professional stylist who would be able to apply the items she purchased correctlyTwo different members of management kindly repeated and explained the policy to her numerous timesMs *** was so emotionally distraught that she continued to scream, use profanity, and aggressively grab merchandise out of our hands. We have video surveillance proving that Ms*** was so disruptive that we were forced to call security in order to get her to leave the premises
