This complaint is about how her water shut off was taken care of. Tenants do not pay their water bills to Bluff Ridge Apartments they are paid to Whitewater water...

utility and they are the ones who send out bills and decide who gets shut off.
We do work with the water department as far as they tell us who to shut off and when and they tell us who to turn back on and when.  Because we do this our tenants are not charged the fees for their water being shut off.  We can not turn the water back on because a tenants calls and says they paid their bill we can only turn the water back on when the water department tells us to do so.When ms Daniel pages maintenance she was told we can not turn the water on until the water department tells us to turn it on.  She told my maintenance man he was going to listen to her and turn on the water. he repeated what he told her and she got very angry and kept yelling at him so he hung up.  She then paged me and started yelling about her water being shut off, I told her that when the water utility told us to turn it on we would but until they tell us too there is nothing we can do, I told her this at least 6 times then she started yelling about maintenance hang up and I told her I was about ready to do the same thing.  She started yelling about not being given enough notice about the turn off I told her I do not need to notify my tenants about their water bill the city does that  ( they mail notice 10 day before disconnection).  I call my tenants to make sure they know it is going to happen which I did at 9amon September 22,2015 I left her a message that she was on our shut of list and she needed to contact whitewater water department or water was due to be shut off on September 23.  I also told her I only need to give 12 hr notice to enter apartments and we do not enter the apartment to shut off water.  I told her to call the water department and ask to talk to [redacted] she is the one who takes care of shut offs.  I told her as soon as they tell us to turn on the water we will turn it on but that we can not until they tell us and there was nothing I could do until they called.  As far as her calling back to maintenance she did but [redacted] did not answer his personal phone because he was not going to argue with her.
On September 23 I called [redacted] Meyer at the water department to find out who need to be shut off Ms [redacted] was to be shut off so on September 23 at around 11am her water was shut off, I reminded [redacted] my office closed at one and told her to call my maintenance man on his cell if any payment was received.  She confirmed the number and that was how water was turned off.
Please feel free to contact the Whitewater Water Utility Department with any question [redacted] this can all be confirmed with them also after I talked to ms [redacted] I call them myself to find out what was going on.
When ms [redacted] had called me & [redacted] her bill had not been paid because she had not hit send on the payment page and that was why [redacted] had not called yet because she had not received the payment.  When They payment was received she told us water was turned on.  She will not receive an apology from us.
