On or about March 15, 2019, my friend and I each purchased a travel package with Honor Rewards Resorts. It was for 2- 5 day/4night all inclusive trips for two adults for $535, the travel was to be completed within the next three years and we would have to sit through a 90 minute presentation. I was able to use this package to travel to the Dominican Republic, Cabo or Cancun, Mexico. At the time of purchase there were not problems expressed by this company about the two of us traveling together. My friend and I decided to use one of the trips included in this package to travel to the Dominican Republic (DR), August 9-13, 2019, to celebrate our anniversaries. We contacted the company together to book the trip, we worked with Kevin. From the very beginning he was trying to sell us upgrades to what we had already purchased. He became irritated when we firmly said we only wanted what we purchased.

When American Tourist starting dying in the DR and the US issued a travel warning for this area and out of concern for my safety, I contacted Honor Rewards Resorts and spoke with Victoria on June 21, 2019. I shared my concern about traveling to request a change in locations due to the travel advisory and safety concerns. She immediately said no problem and sent an email with property locations in Cabo, Mexico on that same date. she said to select a property and she would make the changes. I returned the email the same day with ne selections, I never heard anything back. I contacted and left a message for her on or about Wednesday, June 26, she never returned my call. On Sunday, June 30, I sent an email asking what was going on. On Monday, I called asked for Victoria was transferred to Kevin who was rude and saying that they needed time and talked about the fact that my friend and I were traveling together and that was not allowed, then proceeded to say that he would process a refund to my money. Company is a travel agency selling vacation packages; called me and sold me (2) all inclusive vacation packages with the requirement that travelers be 28 at time of travel (in addition to attending a timeshare sales presentation). When I went to make a reservation; they told me I had to be over 30 years old. The terms and conditions of this sale (which I did not sign) clearly state 28 and not 30 "Buyer is over the age of twenty-eight (28) years of age."
