Hello,
We have reviewed the complaint and have also discussed this issue verbally with Andrew in the past. VIP Dental Lounge has never had an in-house payment plan. The only payment plan we have is called Care Credit which is what he was offered. Unfortunately, he applied for...

it and was denied. CareCredit is a 3rd party credit company that specialized in health care. They have a very low bar for credit but unfortunately, Andrew was declined.Andrew has very poor credit and no credit cards. We also do NOT accept checks in our office and we have had that policy from day one. However, we do accept cash and we have never rejected cash. We did speak with Andrew about it prior to his complaint and during our talk, he was very cordial and did state that he may have misheard or misunderstood something about a payment plan. As the owner, I can confidently state that we have NEVER offered an in house payment plan because we have no ability in our software system to set something up like that. We have had the same employee at the front desk since the day we started and this is something that has been discussed in our office and we have always said that since we don't have the systems to setup a payment plan in house, the best we can do is let patients apply for CareCredit. However, when Andrew started his treatment, he was on his wife's insurance plan I believe but unfortunately, his wife went through a job loss.
At this time, his balance is over $2,000. We have emailed and called Andrew multiple times to offer a settlement but he has not picked up or called back. Unfortunately, his desired settlement is to collect the dentures and pay later via a payment plan that we don't offer. We cannot do that as we have no confidence that payments will be made once the dentures are delivered. We have no recourse either since he has no/poor credit.
If there is anything Andrew was offered like an in-house payment plan, we would like to see it and we will honor it. However, with utmost confidence, we can state that we don't believe any such plan can be offered because no such plan exists in our office. At this time, the best we can do for him is split the payment into 2 installments and give him a hefty break of $400+ to bring his total to $1,600 and split that into 2 equal $800 payments. However, we cannot deliver the dentures until the payments are made.
Thank you,
