In response to this complaint, we did inspect the car and diagnose the car for a customer; *** *** Invoice #*** on 2/19/16, for her complaint of the following: “chugs, spudders, chokes, NO lights on”We had found that the car needed replacement fuel injectors, *** *** approved the
work to install replacement fuel injectors and left the car with us for a few days until the replacement fuel injectors came inThe injectors were installed and the car was test driven by one of our technician’sThe car ran great and no further symptoms of the original complaint were foundWe were then contacted by *** a few days later and told the car was now stalling and the engine would quit and then restartIt is important to note this issue of the engine dying was never stated upon VIP Performance first inspection of the car my ***She stated that she had no more money to spend on the car and had borrowed money to make the first needed repairs, The shops service writer offered to look at the car at NO further cost and see if we could figure out what was going on*** dropped the car off at VIP Performance 2/29/for a reinspection, we spent one hour on the car that morning test driving, inspecting and rechecking, there was no issues found, the engine never stalled or ran poorlyThe following two day the car was driven and inspected by another technician and no issues were foundW*** the shop manager drove the car Saturday 3/5/for over 20miles city & highway with no issues foundThe reinspection notes were made on Invoice#*** ( see attached). The car was given back to *** 3/5/with NO there charged for inspection and NO further issues foundW*** the shop manager explained to *** the car might have a “intermittent” problem and we were unable to get the car to act upWe then advised *** to keep track of the type of driving that’s done if the issue was to act up*** then contacted W*** again on Monday 3/7/and said the car had died and would not restart and also had the check engine light on, W*** advised *** it would be best to tow the car in to have it inspected, *** then stated she had no more money to speedThis Revdex.com complained is the only correspondence from the time of that phone conversation we have had with ***We feel that the issues with ***s car are not part of the original issues the car was havingWe also feel that the problems found and repairs made to the car on Invoice# *** DID correct the issue at that time of the car “chugging, spuddering &choking”The issues that *** describes now are and engine that just quits running and will not restartWe believe *** is possibly making this story up in a attempt to scam us for work we is not willing to pay forWe had driven the car several miles upon the reinspection and NEVER got the car to stallWe would have been glad to take a look at the car again and find the NEW problems but we feel that we should not have to offer FREE service on a year old car will multiple compound issues

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:Sincerely,[redacted], I don't want to have anything to do with this company again. They failed to mention they were going to get my car and take it back to their business after the check engine icon came on and kept stalling. I have a recorded message stating this, but they changed their minds which left me with paying for a tow so I had it towed back to my house. I did tell them I had no more so spend on this. I'm not sure how a check engine light could be "made up", the tow truck driver and the people at my work that helped push my car into a parking spot when it died saw this, and it's still on. The car was running before they worked on it and now it is not. The "check engine" was not on before they worked on it. I'm sorry if they think I'm scamming them.
