Revdex.com:At this time, I have not been contacted by Viper Towing Inc. regarding complaint ID [redacted].Sincerely,[redacted]

Review: My vehicle, plate number [redacted] was towed by this company. I called ###-###-#### which is the number the [redacted] pct. provided to me, for the tow company that towed my vehicle, and when I called it, I was directed by a young lady, I would have to pay in cash $150 at [redacted]. When I arrived at the location, there was no indication or signage implying the tow company's name, which I was told was [redacted] Towing Inc by the [redacted] pct. I had to peak my head into the door of [redacted] and ask the mechanic in the connecting auto mechanic garage area if this was the proper address to retrieve a towed vehicle. He then instructed the business was across the street and for me to enter a lot at [redacted]. I found this extremely awkward. My sister was present with me at the time, and proceeded with me across the street as directed. When we got inside of [redacted], we questioned the young lady who had given us the directions as to why she gave us the address across the street if this is the proper location and she responded "its the same business". I produced the necessary ID and documentation to retrieve my vehicle, my sister [redacted] made a cash payment of $150 as the fee for the tow and requested a receipt. We are both witnesses of the cash exchange. The young lady representing the business didn't even have change on her, causing us to wait for change. When she came back with the change, she gave it to [redacted] and showed me to my vehicle. She never produced a receipt. When I called back to see if I can return to pick up my receipt they said they were closed. I clearly do not recall parking my vehicle in front of the location it was towed from, and a young man who I suspect towed the vehicle said in your defense, it didn't look like a drive way". I suspect some foul play is involved in this whole scenario and would like the expense paid for this incident reimbursed.Desired Settlement: My vehicle was towed by [redacted] Towing. In which, during after regular business hours the contact number for [redacted] Towing turns into another business (first class transport).

According to N.Y. ADC. LAW § 19-169: NY Code - Section 19-169: “Removal of vehicles parked in front of a private driveway”No vehicle may be removed pursuant to this section without the express written authorization issued to a person licensed to engage in towing pursuant to subchapter thirty-one of chapter two of title twenty of the code by the [redacted] of such property, or his or her lessee. Such authorization shall include the location of the vehicle to be removed, the make, model, color and license plate number of such vehicle and a statement that such vehicle was removed pursuant to a notice of parking violation and shall be signed by the [redacted] of such property, or his or her lessee, prior to removal.

The [redacted] at [redacted] never contacted this tow company nor did the police pct. The [redacted]'s name of block [redacted] and lot [redacted] is [redacted]. The person who contacted the tow company was a male in his mid 30's-40. Because when I was looking for my vehicle 12/*/2014 morning, a male in the neighborhood told me he had vehicle towed last night, when I had approached him to see if he noticed any unusual activity in the evening, because I thought my vehicle was stolen. No one ever produced verification for the above mentioned premises. Furthermore, there is no signage in front or around the premises indicating any vehicle obstructing or in front of the driveway will be towed at the vehicle [redacted]s expense. I strongly feel this company did not the proper authority to move the vehicle, did not obey policy when it comes to conducting tow business, clearly and honestly specifying its business location, producing record of payment and reporting vehicle being towed in a timely manner to the [redacted] pct.
