Our hotel has a 100% smoke free policy which is communicated at check in, is denoted on all entry doors to the building, guest room doors and even a table tent sign in the guest rooms All guests are aware that smoking is not permitted within the building, neither cigarettes or any other
substance.This guest smoked Marijuana in their room which is in violation to our 100% smoke free policy The smell of marijuana was so overwhelming that it was reported to the front desk by multiple guests, and was even noticeable in the hotel's lobby since their room was on the first floor It took hours to air out the room and get rid of the smell, which included removing and laundering all linens including drapes and shower curtains and shampooing the carpet Therefore, the smoking fee was charged correctly and will not be reversed.Sincerely, *** * *** ***
