***,Per your membership contract, cancellations must be in writingYou did not come into the office to fill out a cancellation form until January after which there is still a last payment within daysThis is standard practice for all fitness centersWe have many happy members in our community for a long time and the written policy is clear, any attempts to slander Anytime Fitness in any form is liable to treble damages including court, attorney fees and loss of wagesIf you would like to see a copy of your contract, we would be happy to email you a copyWhat we offered you is a courtesy and transferable, if you are turning it down we will note that as well

The sad truth that your members can be treated this way because of feedback and opinions is alarming and is something the Anytime Fitness Corporate and others should be made aware of. Hi,I reject this compensation As I stated prior, I wish to receive a monitary credit for $ I want to cancel this membership as I do not use it any more and don't want to start again When I called to cancel in September, I wanted to cancel, not put the account on hold This action was taken by the manager and not my preference I understand it may be your business policy to attempt to retain members by playing these games, but at the end of the day, I asked to cancel in September and haven't been back to your facility since Based on your deceptive sales and billing techniques, I am frankly disgusted by your gym and manager I have faithfully paid you a lot of money over the past months and haven't used your services I feel that it is a poor business practice to desperately take advantage of your clients by doing only what is best for your bottom line, such as not accepting that someone wants to cancel after fulfilling their end of the agreement in full Please refund my money now Regards,

I would recommend that if you would like to use the term 'courtesy', it would be prudent for you to use it correctly A 'courtesy' would suggest behavior marked by polished manners or respect for others, of which you certainly have none for your customers If you feel that this comment is slanderous or defamatory, please feel free to peruse your legal options against me Might I remind you that the only damages or loss in this matter have been incurred by me, your former client I also have legal rights under 93a consumer protection laws and will persue my legal options at this point as well Your tone and lack of 'courtesy' leave a lot to be desired The lack of customer service, deceptive billing practices, and threatening tone to both myself and my husband on Saturday leave me with no other option but to persue this matter outside of this forum I do hope that the Revdex.com posts this correspondence in its entirety so that all of your future customers can see the level of professionalism and 'courtesy' that you extend to your clients I won't be threatened and will take my comments to the internet review sites Good day Regards,

*** has been a source of negativity since he transferred to us from another Anytime FitnessHe feels very self entitled and will complain incessantly to everyone including the owner, members and staff if he doesn't get what he wantsWe tolerated his negative behavior for a year but decided to
terminate his membership because it did not improve and he tried to make it personal with the ownerWe are a private business and have the right to cancel anyones membership for any reasonHe is the only member we have let go in years since we have been open due to his childish behavior and his actions afterwards reinforced the fact we made the right decisionHe needs to move on and find another gym that will supposedly meet all of his needs and put up with his behavior

Hello,I spoke to my manager [redacted] regarding this situation. I also checked our system notes, dated on 9/13/16 member [redacted] called and left a voicemail about cancellation. On 9/14 system notes that she decided to put account on freeze while she tried the YMCA. Our freeze policy is for 3 months and it...

unfreezes automatically unless they request a refreeze. [redacted]'s account unfroze in 1/9/17 after 3 month per our policy. She was charged and then she came in to fill out 30 day cancellation form which required her to pay the last payment within 30 days (which was 2/9/17). Member sent husband to talk to manager. Husband called and was angry when my manager said she can only talk to the member directly since he was not a member. My manager said [redacted] is upset that she forgot about the freeze policy and making the last required payment after filling out cancel form. Even though my manager followed the correct policy in this situation, we would be happy to give her 2 free months as a courtesy. Thank you.
