We created a lawn for the person making this complaint, all fresh screened dirt, seeded and covered with hay The job was finished on May 29, and the grass was growing quite nicely According to the Weather Channel, the area has gotten slightly under 4" of rain since the job was completed and naturally the new dirt is very wet and soft I had spoken to them after the job was finished and told them that the ground would firm up as the root system forms under the grass, sod is formed and we get some sunshine to dry it a little With all the rain we have gotten lately, I told them to stay off of it until it does dry and the sod forms and then they would be able to walk anywhere they want to They were very happy with the job, when we left I even gave them two loads of modified to " dress up" the driveway and installed a pipe to drain water from their rain gutters off the lawn and never charged anything for that In that the job was only done a little more than three weeks ago, they are really being a little impatient expecting an instant lawn, considering the continuing wet weather conditions since the job was done

What they didn't tell you is that I have spent over $300 to bring in "bags" of dirt for the grass, more grass seed, etc. It is still yellow but we are now trying to feed it at an additional cost. And the pics don't show how much rock is in the fake loam, holes we are filling, etc. We will try to rake it once we think we have any stability on the ground. But we are retired and on a fixed income. We do not have the where-with-all to fight this big company. We sincerely appreciate your help in trying to rectify the situation and thank you for being there.Regards,[redacted]

I am rejecting this response because:It is an ABSOLUTE lie - they did not deliver loam, the ground is full of rocks, grass is not growing, it cannot be walked on without sinking, etc. We have had adequate rain, maintained a water system to help grow, all to no avail.

Dear Revdex.com,
I see the message and the photo's. What they didn't tell you is that I have spent over $300 to bring in "bags" of dirt for the grass, more grass seed, etc. It is still yellow but we are now trying to feed it at an additional cost. But we are retired and on a fixed income. We do not have the where-with-all to fight this big company.
We sincerely appreciate your help in trying to rectify the situation and thank you for being there.
