Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because: I am not satisfied with the dishonesty expressed by this businessWe were presented with a vehicle via advertising, verbally by sales staff and a printed car fax that simply was not the vehicle we were soldThe value difference between the actual vehicle and the misrepresented vehicle is $I simply want the vehicle we were led to believe we were buying, or the difference in the value.Sincerely,*** ***

To Whom It May Concern:

This will be my last response to this claim.

In no way shape or form did we attempt any such “Bait and Switch” on the sell of this Tundra to Mr. [redacted].  This transaction took place over many days with me saying “No” to Mr. [redacted] offer’s to purchase this Toyota Tundra.   After days of “grinding” I gave one final price and he finally accepted.

I feel Mr. [redacted] involving the Revdex.com is another attempt to take advantage of our kindness once again and get more discount.  I made an offer to “buy” back the vehicle, which is easy, as he drops it off and we refund the credit union.  Yet once again he tries to get another $500+ in discount instead and make unflattering remarks about our business that has great standing in our community.

The unit was dropped off to our location on July 12th with extensive exterior damage from the awning detaching due to a manufacturers defect. Upon inspecting the unit we decided to have a different repair facility look at the unit and do repairs based upon the severity of the issue and their...

expertise dealing with these type of repairs. The awning was torn off completely along with a large dent to the top piece of metal of the unit along with several other issues caused by the incident. The unit was taken to the other service facility on July 17th to have them put together a estimate for repairs and a parts list of exactly what is needed to fix the issue. On July 26th we received a parts list and estimate for repairs that needed to be done. I then contacted manufactures parts department to get all parts ordered for repair. The order was completed and received order confirmation on August 3rd. The parts did not ship from manufacturer until August 21st. Since the parts were large they have to be shipped ground and they come from Indiana. The parts were received on August 28th and we received a call that repairs were completed on September 1st that evening. We were able to pick unit up on September 5th due to the holiday weekend and the repair facility was closed until then. On August 17th Mrs. [redacted]  came into our dealership to discuss if there was a possibility for her to trade into another unit that might suit her needs better. We found a unit that she wanted to try to get financing on and trade her current unit in. While we tried our banks we use at our dealership we also gave her a purchase order so she could go and try to get financing at her credit union locally. On August 17th at 4:45 pm we received a approval from a bank. I then tried to give Mrs. [redacted] a call to inform her of the approval but was unable to get a hold of her so we left her a voicemail. We then tried calling 2 more times on the 18th and again on the 19th to inform her of the approval and had no response back. On the 21st of August we called her to inform her that the parts had been shipped and to see if she was still interested in trading in her unit and that we still had a approval for financing to do so and no response. We did not hear from Mrs. [redacted] again until September 5th as we informed her that her unit was ready to go. We went and picked up her unit on September 5th and inspected units exterior and made sure all repairs were done correctly. We then called Mrs. [redacted] to ask her if she would like us to delivery the unit to her so she didn't have to make the trip down to us but she was out of the state in Nevada and said she would pick the unit up on either the 11th or 12th of September. We also asked her if she was still interested on possible trading in the unit and that we had contacted her on several instances that we had an approval but told us that she never received any phone calls from us and wasn't thinking she wanted to trade unit in anymore. When unit was back on our lot there was a square access panel that came loose and fallen off of unit behind bathroom that she asked us to fix when she originally dropped off unit. We repaired that issue and closed unit up until she came to pick unit up on the 12th of September at 5:30 pm that evening. This is when the customer noticed the counter was displaced and had come loose from the wall. We did not see or notice that issue and are not sure exactly how that issue happened. We assume it possible happened by the unit traveling down the road as it seemed to have just pulled loose from its original position. When these unit travel down the road there is excessive vibration inside the unit and it is very likely it was caused by this. We have the new counter top ordered and we will replace it at no charge to the customer when it arrives. We then repaired the counter top and put it back to its original position and re-secured so she could use her unit until new counter top arrives as she plans on wanting to use the unit this weekend. We then offered to delivery the unit to her on the 13th. We are still open to having her trade in her unit to us as we discussed on the 17th of August if that is what she would like to do. We are taking care of the counter top and will replace it at no charge to the customer. We are very sorry that she had to go through this entire situation as we do not wish that upon anyone. If the customer would like to trade the unit in that is of course something we will do if that will work for her, but no matter what the repair to the counter top will be done at no cost to the customer once the part comes in.

Car is fixed and customer has it.  All is good...

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:While an attempt was made by the business to resolve our claim, the terms are to cumbersome and restrictive to us as the consumer (see attached). We did attempt to ask for some concession in their offer however, they were unwilling. We feel that they were dishonest by misrepresentation closely resembling 'bait and switch" tactics. Sincerely,[redacted]

In response to the customer's complaint: Mr. [redacted] looked at this truck with his son (a Toyota "Geek" as stated by Mr. [redacted]) and wouldn't buy it without his approval on Saturday February 13th. After very uncomfortable conversations about price and extreme request for services for 3 days (and even...

the day of delivery) we finally agreed upon afinal price. Mr. [redacted] didn't take delivery until Wednesday February 17th after we performed the agreed upon services at our cost and added his repair bill to the purchase price so he could finance it through his credit union. He had multiple days etc. to evaluate and confirm his acceptance of this truck. His Purchase order has no mention of SRS and I cannot make sure the auto Vins pull everything up correctly on Carfax or even our web page which is why there are dissclaimers. We are a very nice and accommodating dealership maybe one of the last in the Treasure Valley but even we have limits on how customers should be able to treat us. I would like to BUY back this Tundra for the amount sold to Mr.[redacted]. Within 10 days or March 23rd ... Assuming there has been no extreme abuse or use and miles have not exceeded 99,000. Or close this Complaint and further Complaints and they enjoy this very nice Truck AS IS.
