I reject this response because I spoke to the
Dean of Students before I left Virginia College, she specifically stated to me
"Mr*** should have told me that I could only receive up to transfer
credits". As representatives of
Virginia College, I took her word that this was factual information. In addition, there seems to be a lack of
individuals accepting their fiduciary responsibility to the students. The students attend Virginia College with a
promise that they will be guided to a better future after their education has
been received; never-the-less, Virginia College is only concerned with lining
their pockets with government loans and grants.
It was unfortunate that my educational career came to an end at Virginia
College because I believed that Dr*** and most of her staff has the
students "well-being at heart."
I further believe that a selected few of her staff don't care what goes
on at the institution as long as their pockets are lined with misappropriated
federal dollars.
I will make a
stand for the students who just don't know any betterIn most cases Federal
Dollars has to be repaid by the students.
If this was a case where I had received my student loan, this situation
would have been brushed under the table.
However; I was asked to sign a promissory note, making this debt to the
school. Now the communication and
fiduciary responsibility errors that have come to pass is effecting the schools
pockets. A lack of communication on Mr
*** and Ms*** part to myself has resulted in a student departure to
another school. My honesty kept me from
denying that I attended Virginia College on my application to Columbus State,
who doesn't accept Virginia College accreditation. My dedication to the Criminal Justice System
will not allow me to just let this get swept under the rug. Therefore, I request that my debt be forgiven
for the faculty injustices or my transcripts be forwarded to Columbus State and
I pay for the one class that I had not already taken (Introduction into Industrial
Security).
The option of
returning to Virginia College is not on the table because I was willfully
deceived. I will fight the fight for the
students and myself because its time someone stood up to this misappropriation
of funds. College is a learning
experience and I have had plenty of practice of things not to do. I refuse to pay for courses that I have
already taken and broken promises anymore!
I feel that I have worked with the institution more than enough. I have made all the necessary calls,
meetings, and communications to those individuals that would be responsible for
my outcome. I have expressed my concerns
and it was not until I took the first step of contacting the RevDex.com that my voice has been heard.
Obviously, I don't not want to escalate this matter but I have given two
resolutions that are to my satisfaction.
Anything outside of those resolutions are simply unacceptable

Please allow at least business days for a returned call The Student Ombudsman attempted to reach you at 12:pm Central on Tuesday, October 20th but received your voicemail It may take a day or two to link both parties up to schedule your meeting, and your patience and cooperation is appreciated Please return the call to *** *** at (***)* *** If you get voicemail, please leave a message with a couple days and times that work with your schedule to meet with the Campus President

Upon receipt of this complaint, I contacted Ms*** *** for to see if she had any additional information that she could provide and to find out why she had not followed the grievance policy in her catalog when she enrolled After investigating attendance and communication records, we
decided to go ahead and reverse all tuition charges and return the federal aid received I reviewed the lack of valid contact information and the multiple attempts made by the staff of Virginia College to reach Ms*** The subject of these communication attempts was very important and urgent I provided Ms*** with this necessary advisement and we discussed the process of returning federal aid
I will track these accounting activities so that I can notify Ms*** when they are all complete She is also free to contact me at (*** *** for status updates

I did unfortunately miss her call. I don't feel I need to meet with the campus president yet again because when I met with her the first time she didn't do anything to resolve my issue in the first place.
