the letter does not state all correct information. On the 15th when they were called, the secretary [redacted] stated that [redacted] would call me back. As of yet, I have not heard from him. On the second or third call, [redacted] told me that she did not have any records because her computer had went down. There where several calls from [redacted] to me seeking information. Since Mr. [redacted] or his technicians did not ever leave me any paperwork, how can he say they had not heard from us. I have every date as well as time wrote down. And from the beginning the unit was not registered with [redacted] under the owners name. The unit is fixed and we have decided to go with the [redacted] who will continue to service our unit( we had our unit serviced bi yearly by another more professional and knowledgable company) . Do I want anything from Virginia Heating and Cooling, Just copies of any work to included date and time that they are showing on this unit which also includes the original invoice. Other than that nothing is needed. The son of Mr. [redacted] was who came to my house, and he left saying no charge warranty work.

I have contacted Virginia Heating and Cooling 16 times since the Thermal Expansion Valve was replaced. I have records for each of the phone calls. The part was under warranty and I did pay for the labor that was performed. Since the service technician removed my drain pipe to the heat pump it has leaked. Each time I have called, I have spoken with the same female at the phone answering service. Each call, I have given my name, number, address, and have explained that the drain valve is leaking onto my patio. On one of these phone calls I was told that a technician was coming by to take a look at it within the hour and make the repair. No one ever showed up at my house, but I was told that they came. The pipe that was removed, that the technician claimed was clogged is cracked and thus is leaking. I feel it is Virginia Heating and Cooling's responsibility to repair the drain valve that the technician broke, and to make sure that it is no longer leaking. Water is pooling around my unit on my patio, which attracts mosquitos and bugs. I have a small dog that I have to supervise when he goes outside because I am scared he will drink the pooling water, as curious dogs may do, and he may fall ill. I would like this issue resolved immediately, because I have been more than patient with Virginia Heating and Cooling.

Revdex.com spoke with a representative from the business who provided the following response: He said that the unit was installed in June of 2013, and that there was only a one year labor warranty, but when the customer needed a part replaced, the part was under warranty. He stated that they ordered a...

replacement part for her thermal expansion valve and replaced that part under warranty but did charge for labor. He stated that the reason water was coming out the wrong side was because the drain line was clogged, and he did unclog the drain line for her, which is considered regular maintenance, free of charge. He said that at this point he isn't aware of any other issues the customer has.

Review: A part was ordered and replaced on 5/14/16. The heat pump is still in warranty and purchased through this company. I had to pay 315.00 dollars for labor. The part was replaced and water is coming out of the wrong side of the heat pump. I have contacted them numerous times and I have never received a call back. I do not want my heat pump ruined. It was purchased in 2013. I feel like the company is completely ignoring my request to straighten this matter out.Desired Settlement: I would like the company to fix the problem.

Review: house was built in 2012 with unit being installed in june of 2012. As of April 6,2015 we have had Virginia Heating and Cooling down to our house 7 times for different maintenance. The owners are rude and will not return calls to them. I called 4 times on April 6,2015 and left messages with [redacted] (who stated owner was not in but would be in later and was given the message to call me back) as of right now on the 7th I have not heard from [redacted]. His son, [redacted] came to my house on the 6th at 1615 (15 minutes late) and told us what had to be done. He told us he would be back today the 7th to repair. Then on the 7th he calls and states if we don't pay the labor they wont be there. And while he was there, he informed me that I would not get to talk to the boss or see the boss? and there would be no way that I would get my desired outcome. This company needs help with customer relations as well as standing behind there work/product.Desired Settlement: I would like for this unit to be replaced since obviously it is a lemon with many issues. or unit repaired and serviced right and the warranty be extended for atleast the next years.
