Virginia Physicians, Inc.

Review: I was just informed today that my primary care physician, who is now affiliated with Virginia Physicians, Inc. will no longer accept [redacted] because Virginia Physicians, Inc. does not accept it. However, on their web page, it states that they accept [redacted]. This is grossly misleading and confusing. [redacted] is the former name for [redacted], which is the health care program serving uniformed service members and retirees.Desired Settlement: Fix the web site to accurately reflect their actual practices.

Response:

The patient and the employee of the billing office at [redacted] spoke on November 1, 2013 regarding the misunderstanding of her particular [redacted] insurance plan. The biller misunderatood which [redacted] product this patient participated with. [redacted] does except this patient's [redacted] plan.

Virginia Physicians, Inc. is not in network with [redacted] but we accept [redacted] and [redacted] for [redacted] as those plans have out-of-network benefits. Virginia Physicians, Inc will update their website to clearify the [redacted] plans that we participate with.
