lies, lies and more lies
tim pritchett of VA hard scape and Mike romers of m12 are in business together referring each other to jobs. Tim will take the job and money and never complete the work. the excuses gets more extravagant as each week goes by. You will then have Mike Romers jump in with even more lies and push offs. You will never get your job completed! they then change the names of their companies when they get sued or have a lien put on them to escape the consumers obtaining what is rightfully theirs. look all over the Internet like I should have before to see the massive complaints about them not performing and stealing money.

Review: We purchased a pool to be put in our back yard and made a down payment, and were told the work would begin in late May. The end of may came around and we had not heard from them. after repeated attempts to contact the sales person, [redacted], who is apparently unable to return calls, called and said that due to weather it would be the end of June. It is now the end of June and we still have not heard from them. We have tried to contact [redacted] several time over the past week, and he finally called back today and said that he doesn't know, that we need to talk to someone else, [redacted] who is the owner.Desired Settlement: The level of service that we have received since we paid the downpayment is unacceptable, we just want to know when our pool is going to be started. We do not mind having to wait if someone would have just contacted us.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.

I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

We chose this business after being promised good service. We met with them last summer July '13 and were told they could start Jan. 2014. We assumed they would contact us to sign a contract (wanting to have our business) but by January we had not heard from them. We decided to call to discuss when our pool would start and they explained they now had some pools in front of us. We said we still wanted a pool, signed a contract on January 28th 2014 and were told they would start in March . After not hearing from them, we called multiple times, but did not get a response. Once we filed a complaint on here we got a response from them saying they would stay in constant contact with us regarding when the pool would start, if we took our complaint off here. That agreement was made in June. They then called to update us, but kept giving excuses as to why they couldn't start. They then had the nerve to call and ask if we would accept them taking 1,500 off because someone else called and said they "wanted a pool right away". We declined the offer because we also wanted a pool right away (since we had been wanting one since since last summer and signed a contract in January). They said that was fine and would start July 25th. That week we were at the beach and received a phone call saying they were ready to start, but need a letter from our HOA. When we got home we got the letter the HOA and delivered it to their office. A couple days later we had not heard from them and called again to ask when they were going to start. We were then told they were waiting on the weather. After two days of sun, we called again and were told they would get back to us. We asked if they went ahead and start the pool that "wanted to be done now", they admitted yes. We are putting in a 30, 000 dollar pool and put over 7, 600 down payment in January. ,

We want the pool done immediately and compensation for time lost.

I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

[redacted] called us when he found out we filed a complaint with the Revdex.com and wanted to know if he could just refund our money. Not only did he lie to us about when our pool would be started he offered us $1500.00 dollars if we would let them do another pool in front of ours. We rejected this offer and stated that we wanted our pool just as much as this other person, especially because it was recomended by my wife's doctor due to her health issues, and were told that it would start in three weeks. Four weeks went by and we heard nothing. At this point in time we called and spoke to the salesman, [redacted], and he told us that they went ahead and started that other pool and would push ours back even further. After hearing this and being very disconcerted We called and spoke to [redacted] and asked if they started the other pool and he lied and said no. When asked about this he wanted to know how we knew that he started it and then asked why we would want to do business with them when we got off to such a bad start and asked if he could refund the money if we would take our complaint off with the Revdex.com. We had absolutely no idea that he had gotten a building permit because he stated that he was not going to get one since he was not going to do our pool. We want a FULL refund including the money for the building permit, for which he told us he had not even gotten yet. I do not understand how a business can treat customers like this when you are spending $30,000.00 with them. It may not seem like a lot of money to Mr. [redacted] but it is a lot of money to us, especially when we pulled money from stocks to pay for this. After telling us that he was refunding our money, he stated that we would have it in a week. Well once again three to four weeks went by and we received nothing. We had to call again inquiring about our refund check before a check was actually written. I can only assume that this was due to the fact that during this time is when he went and purchased a building permit for which we have never seen and was never posted on our property. In addition to filing this complaint with the Revdex.com we are also going to be filing a complaint on [redacted] and [redacted] just so customers can be informed of their business practices.

Business

Response:

Regarding the issue with Mr. [redacted], I will return the cost of the building permit (175.00). However, Mr. [redacted] will need to agree in writing that the Revdex.com complaint was settled satisfactorily and he will not attempt to slander Virginia Pools via the Revdex.com or any other social media in the future.

I hope this will resolve this matter.

Thank you for your assistance.

Regards,

Worst customer service we have ever experienced from a business. We called for 2 months to try and get our leaking pool fixed. It was one excuse after another as to why they could not come out and service us. It has rained, it was cloudy, they are busy, etc. I don't actually think they have an appointment book to schedule appointments. They are very unorganized and extremely rude. David was very unhelpful and said he would call us back on several occasions and never would. I would highly recommended no using this business for your pool needs. Your issues are not a priority to them. Very dissatisfied with them. They should have an F rating not an A. We went with another pool company and they came out in 4 days and fixed our leak no problem.
