Review: Virginia Premier Painting was hired on 9-11-13 to paint living room and entry of our house for $1250.00 with $400 deposit. I have a sign agreement with [redacted] of Virginia Premier Painting as advertised in the [redacted] and there web site as licensed and insured. They moved a piano and damaged the hardwood floors and a wheel on the piano. I contacted [redacted] on 9-11-13 around 5:00 after noticing the damage to the piano as one of my daughters asked way the piano was rocking, I talked with [redacted] to explain the problem and that he needs to come look at the damage and bring his insurance information, he said he would be out at 8am and the damage would be fixed and was not a problem. His foremen [redacted] and another employee showed up at 8am also waiting for [redacted], I showed them the damage they said yes they had moved the piano, they began to clean-up took some of there tools and said they where going to find [redacted] and left, [redacted] never showed up. I looked into their VA contractor license and there is no record of one and I have left numerous messages at both his cell [redacted] and office number. And now his voice mail say [redacted] for some reason. I believe he has no license in VA or Insurance. I do have a the copy of the cancelled check wrote to him with his drivers license number on the back. At this point the project is half done with the damaged floor and piano. I need to get his insurance information if he has any, the damage I believe is beyond the value of the remaining work by a considerable amount.Desired Settlement: I need his insurance information for the repair work or pay a for the damage which is from phone conversations with a piano company and a wood flooring contractor could total more then $10,000.00
