While I appreciate the detailed response from VRS, it comes from someone who was never involved in any of the interactions between me and the companyThe respondent is relying on the anecdotal information from his employees who have mischaracterized and flatly lied about the circumstances and the exchanges between usThe facts are very clear and the most apparent fact is that this is a company that refuses to allow any customer to be right, but instead is willing to trash a customer to maintain a posture with an insurance company My company is a service company and I have 40+ years dealing with clients and have never in my professional life encountered any organization less respectful of a customer as I have in my experience with VRS.By refusing to accept any responsibility for their lack of performance and culpability in the difficulty involved in settling the claim, they have simply confirmed my original complaintI again point out that when we were able to collect payment from the cable company, I invited VRS to complete their workThey refused and were paid immediately for work completed and billedI fulfilled my side of this bargainThey did not

Review: The business fails to returns calls in a timely manner and has not properly refinished out tub. I have had the business to return to my home twice to repair work done to refinish my tub. The finish continues to bubble, crack and peel off. On the second visit, I request that the finish in the bottom of the tub be removed and redone. The business failed came out coated the tub and did not completely fix the issue. My husband immediately called him back. Since then, there have been 3 additional calls. He says he is returning. He has not returned and our tub is still not repaired. At this point, we are very displeased with the service and communication. We would like out tub to be refinished and repaired properly. From this experience I will not refer him to family and friends.Desired Settlement: We would like out tub to be refinished and repaired properly or our money back so that I can pay another company to do the work properly. From this experience I will not refer him to family and friends.

Review: I had my tub refinished by [redacted] of Virginia Restoration Services in Ashland, VA on 1/15/15. There was pitting, roughness, & bubbles in the finish that I was told would go away & if not to call. They did NOT go away & my bathroom renovation was put on hold until 2/4/15 when Mr [redacted] was available to come back to redo the job.

Within a few months, the finish started to bubble off. I spoke with Mr [redacted] on 8/24/15 & he asked that I text him my address so he could let me know when he would be in my area to fix it. I NEVER received a phone call or date for re-repair. I texted Mr [redacted] on 9/22/15 reminding him of the above conversation & to find out what his plans were. I NEVER received a return text. As there is a 5 year warranty, Mr [redacted] has already had over SIX WEEKS to resolve this most current issue, AND he's already tried TWICE to refinish my tub correctly, I am through trying to deal with him & simply want my initial $325.00 payment refunded IN FULL so I can hire someone else to refinish my tub.

Review: [redacted] refinished my bathtub. The next day pitting appearing in the paint. When called, he agreed to come a week later to correct the problem and said it was a simple matter to fix. He never showed up and will not respond to phone calls or email.Desired Settlement: Either finish the job as agreed or refund my money. Hiring another contractor at this point will involve stripping [redacted] paint job off, which usually costs another $150. He should pay for that as well.
