Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 9, 2016/04/21) */ According to the computer generated repair order number [redacted] that is both dated and time stamped 01/18/@11:44am the Sonata with odometer reading of 93,miles was repair at our facilityHyundai authorized the engine replacement and the vehicle was repaired by a factory certified technician to factory specifications and was operating properlyOn a retune visit as documented on repair order number [redacted] 2/23/Customer stated since engine replacement car sounds like a race carThe technician inspected the vehicle repairs that was made in regards to previous engine repair and found no noise related to that repairThe noise was only present when the vehicle was movingWe advised the customer that the vehicle would need further diagnosis to determine the problem because it was not coming from the engine or any related areas to that previous repairThis was at no charge to the customer and the customer was provide a vehicle to drive while the engine repairs was being completedAs stated on repair order as well the technician noted that a mud flap was dragging on the tire when it arrived and noise could possibly be coming from axle or suspensionI have attached a copy of both repair orders with the documentation of all the work performed at no charge to the customer that totaled $The only time the customer was asked to pay for anything was items that are not covered under the manufactures warrantyWe would suggest the customer have the suspension and axle inspected for the noise as we have already stated

the vehicle was repaired by a factory certified technician to factory specifications and was operating properly. On a retune visit as documented on repair order number [redacted] 2/23/16 Customer stated since engine replacement car sounds like a race car. The technician inspected the vehicle repairs that was made in regards to previous engine repair and found no noise related to that repair. The noise was only present when the vehicle was moving. We advised the customer that the vehicle would need further diagnosis to determine the problem because it was not coming from the engine or any related areas to that previous repair. This was at no charge to the customer and the customer was provide a vehicle to drive while the engine repairs was being completed. I have attached a copy of both repair orders with the documentation of all the work performed at no charge to the customer that totaled $6110.19. The only time the customer was asked to pay for anything was items that are not covered under the manufactures warranty. We would suggest the customer have the suspension and axle inspected for the noise as we have already stated.
