The original claim was reported on August 19thMr [redacted] called several times and was unable to reach Ms [redacted] They kept missing each other at the office since Mr [redacted] is out alot on estimatesMr [redacted] spoke with Ms [redacted] on August 28th and scheduled to meet with her on August 29thHer son called on the 29th and said she was sick and to please give her a few days to recoverMr [redacted] then said he would call Thursday, August 31st (Yesterday) and set up a time to meet with herHe was working on a move that morning and the customer ended up having to have another truck load sent to Raleigh, so Mr [redacted] did not get back into the office until 9:PM last nightHe called her this morning and went and met with her and was able to settle the claim with a $refundShe was satisfied and to our knowledge the claim has been settled satisfactorilyWhen Mr [redacted] went out to give Ms [redacted] and estimate, he explained that when a customer packs and wraps their own items we can't be held responsible for items getting broken from moving around inside of the box, but we would still refund her a portion to help her replace the damaged items because we want to keep our customers satisfiedWe also gave her a Moving brochure which explains how everything worksWe also explained she chose the basic valuation which only covers cents per pound/per article and declined taking out the full valuation replacement, but we would still refund her to satisfy her with her move.Thanks!
