I am rejecting this response because:
I was very clear from the beginning that the design was to pull from one design in light pastel colorsI offered specific layouts for each page and fonts-none of which have been followed For example, I asked for Kuntzler script font and they decided to go with something completely differentThe second review was colored in chocolate brown I was polite about the issues and I spent almost an hour going thru the problems which they claimed they gotAt the third review it went from bad to worst and it appeared from the design they had lost interest in the project They acknowledged that the main developer was sick for over a week and then ,when I requested last week it get resolved before the next payment, they told me they did not have time last week to work on my project until today the 28th.The request for this resolution came after seeing the third review which was mainly beige in color the fonts again were not what was requested,various colors showed up on pages for example a light blue grey at the top of a page and a dark grey blue at the bottom which was their original color So they couldn't even complete the changes from on design change to anotherThe content had not be added and upon review of looking at the mobile view it was in complete disarray However, despite all of this, the claimed that they were optimistic that they would have the site up this Wednesday I was in complete shock Not knowing how to get what I wanted completed, I stated that I would not pay until 50% or more of the project be completed.They responded first by stating that they quit the project and directed me to look at the contract which stated anyone could abandon the project and I would still be responsible for paymentI informed them those terms created a voidable contract They then came back and said the other developer would talk to me on the 28th despite numerous email communications on FridayThey then finished up by stating that "nobody was plotting against me" yet reiterated how professional they were.They basically did nothing on this project for weeks They did not follow through with my design requests and decided to do their own thing They initially bailed on the project when I stated I would not pay until the project was closer to completion and directed me to a clause stating they could abandon the project and I would still need to pay They then said they would contact me on the 28th to resolve the problem because they were busy with other clients and outside activities They finished by stating they weren't "plotting against me"This appears to becoming a legal matterI will not pay more until I see my design requests are in place, they have not changedBecause they were unavailable to work on the project for two weeks, it seems reasonable to move the next payment date up weeks if they can follow through with my design request If they decide to ignore the design requests and feel as if I am paranoid, then it does raise the issue if they are really going to put their feelings aside anyway and give me the website I was seeking in the first place If they can not recognize that they weren't 100% available in the past two weeks to work on my project and still make a money demand on me then it will need to go to court
