I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ***, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
there is no reason why Mike Elder should hold the fee he charged when renting an apartment he should never have rented. Why do I have to wait till I vacate to get reimbursed? One thing has nothing to do with the other. He may be buddies with the owner, but he is not the owner. He was not truthful and I am not surprised by the response. He actually told me that the owner was in financial problems when I called him after the owner gave me the news. He is so full of it. The only thing that was true in that fictitious story was the offer to help get me find another rental, but why would I trust him to do that after this horrible mess he put me in. It amazes me what money does to people. Honestly the only reason I sent you a complaint in the first place was because a friend recommended I do so. She told me you would be able to get the realtor fee returned right away. I honestly don't expect him to reimburse me at all. I will save my money and vacate when ready. God doesn't like ugly; sooner or later people pay for the wrong they do. Karma! I am just so done with this whole ordeal. I just want to save enough money and leave. I will not be bullied in any way by either him or the owner. If it weren't for the other family living this nightmare I would make a phone call that would put them in a really bad situation. Unlike them I have a heart and I am concerned for the others living there. I had actually emailed the owner telling her that I would be doing this. Surely he was expecting to hear from you and prepared his "story"He actually should work on his grammar instead of telling stories.Thanks for your assistance and I guess this is as far as this will go.

HI Alexis responding to this baseless compliant from [redacted]: I will cut right to the chase with the complaint I will refund the 1750$ as soon as she ready to move out.I offered to help her find another apartment with no charge on my end.I rescind the offer of helping her...

find another apartment as she choose to take a low road .She can can hire another broker to help her find another apartment.As far as her contradicting complaint. I would like to clear our image as we are in business for a long time and dont get any complaints.She lives on the first floor in a 1 bedroom apartment that is fully renovated which she fell in love with on the spot in a beautiful 2 family brick house ,there is a 3 bedroom duplex that is above here.so the apartment is not illegal and the landlord is not much of a slumlord.secondly we all know if the landlord was looking to sell last year he would not have given [redacted] a one year lease she would be in their month to month.As she stated the apartment was not vacate when she saw the apartment and moved in right after.I explained all this to her and did not believe a word that I have to say to here.The landlord did not ask her to leave and neither did I.I and the landlord told here that she has a lease and plus everything is on hold for the moment.Their is no proof that I or the landlord knew that last July that he intends to sell the house.We will honor here Desired settlement when she is ready.
