I used to leave in Mirada 2017 , I got authorization from current staff Emet S to paint a wall and they said not problem, as well received authorization to rearrange the shelf, since they where the one provided by the community constantly fall off the wall. They sent me a letter once I moved about paying $395. I disputed with the staff and they said the manager will get back to me, I got a call back and I said will not pay and I want to dispute that. I never hear back until now 2 years later. I'm getting a letter from a collation agency; to pay money I should have never been charge for since, they gave me authorization for.

I called the current manager , I tried to describe the employee ( I said was a darker skin guy, could remember name and she told me they never had one) Thanks God I found a email from Emet proving he did work there. She sent me the contract saying I have to return the apartment as it was. However in the contract doesn't said I need a written authorization to make the changes and I trusted the employee, my bad for not reading carefully but I was tired of having to pick my close and I did as for authorization. I don't belive I should have to pay that amount I could pay less but that is too much and if you read review in google you will see i'm not the 1st person they say something and then lie about it. also they build does apartment very cheap, that cause the problem with the shelf. I don't want this reported on my credit and I need help, they are a big company and I'm just a old customer. PLEASE HELP ME . 2 YEAR Laters is crazy.

We first want to apologize about your dissatisfaction regarding this situation. Our goal as a company is to create a great living experience from move-in to move-out and we take this matter very seriously. There are times, such as this, where we have to follow the guidelines of our lease contract. Our lease states under section 8. Care of Premises “All alterations, additions and improvements made to the premises shall be at Lessee’s sole cost and expense, shall only be made upon the prior written consent of the Lessor”. The Lease also states under section 9. Acceptance by Lessee “Lessee accepts the leased premises as is and acknowledges that the leased premises are in good condition and agrees to maintain the premises in good condition during the term of the Lease and agrees to return them to Lessor in the same condition at the termination of the lease, ordinary wear and tear excepted.” These policies are in place to protect the resident and the company from situations like this. We do not deny that the person mentioned was an employee with Vision Communities. If you are able to provide authorization in writing we would be more than happy to work with you regarding the mentioned charges. No changes can be made without this documentation. On August 21, 2018 you provided your forwarding address and a copy of your statement of deposit was sent on 9/19/2018 to the provided forwarding address, notifying you of the balance due. A highlighted copy of the lease outlining the mentioned policies can be provided at your request. If you have any further questions please feel free to contact us directly.

After some consideration, we have decided to settle with you and remove half of the collection charge. Please call the office to make arrangements for payment. Once payment is received, we will reach out to our collection agency and advise them of the payment.

I accept the settlement , I also need insurance that this will not be reported on my credit. The collection agency told me they have a freeze not to report as loan as I make payment by end of month. I will call *** office to pay today.
