We never had an opportunity to look at the vehicle to investigate cause of failure The service manager (Greg) does not feel that the vehicle would have driven over miles had the oil plug not been inserted [redacted] original complaint was that we never put oil in the car, when she made that statement to Greg, he had asked her to get the vehicle herewhich she did not [redacted] has put miles on the vehicle since she purchased it on December 14th, thru July 9thAnd had only changed the oil here twiceJuly 9th being the second time Had the oil plug not been properly installed, there would have been “splash back” on the frame of the car and oil puddling anywhere the vehicle was parkedWe have not been able to confirm eitherPer our records, we can only confirm negligence in regards to frequency of performing oil changes, which could potentially lead to engine failure Thanks, Joe [redacted] - General Manager

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me Regards, [redacted] Adrian was showing me pictures of the car at the dealership on the computer and I kept asking him where is this car and he kept telling me at a different location and it had to be delivered to their location which was suppose to be the next dayI wanted to test drive the car and that never happened which they are suppose to do before selling every vehicle letting the customer test driveI never test drove that car they just sold it to me without letting me drive the car firstAfter contacting Vision Hyundai for weeks Adrian told me the Air Vac tube was causing the check engine light to come on at the dealership and they couldn’t get it to go off because it wasn’t passing inspectionThe cooperate office thought Adrian had already delivered the car to me and he did notAfter complaining so many times to cooperate and the manager asking them what was the hold up with the car Adrian finally delivers the vehicle apologizingWhen he delivers the car it had cigarette burns in the seats, doors & the ceiling of the car and a big red stain on the carpet in the backseat like someone was killed in that vehicle and I was pissed and this is the car they sold to meI had no transportation back and forth to work or doctor appointments for weeksI immediately told them I did not want the car because the dealer Adrian lied to me about when he was going to deliver the car and he never let me test drive the car which he was suppose to do before selling it ( company policy)I received the car I contacted them immediately in regards to the check engine light coming on and told them I did not want the car because that was the delay in delivering the car in the first placeWhat they are not telling you is check engine light came on times and they still made me keep the carMark the business manager told me since I did not have a cosigner I had to keep the car which was a lie I also contacted the bank that financed the loan and told them the difficulties I was having and I was giving the car back because the check engine light came on the first week I had it in my possessionThe check engine light came on times and I explained to Vision Hyundai in the beginning under the lemon law after the engine light came on a few times they had to take the car back also the air bag light has been on a few times which is a safety risk This company refused to take the car back after me complaining several times for week’s about the delay and the condition of the vehicleI contacted the cooperate office and everyone at that dealership about Adrian selling me a car he knew had problems and not letting me test drive the car first and he kept giving me excusesI find it quite disturbing that a dealership can treat a customer this way and get away with itI will never recommend anyone to Vision Hyundai to purchase a vehicleI'm attaching a list of recalls on this vehicle for your viewing and I have had some of these problems

Revdex.com spoke with the business today and the following was stated by Greg in the service department:There is no recall on the vehicle.The only time this was in for a check engine light was in May of and the fuel tank sending unit was replaced at no charge to the consumer.The air bag light system
monitors many different components - there is an extended warranty on the pre-tensioner that would be covered but if there are any other issues, they would not be covered under warranty.As far as the steering issue, this could not be duplicated The vehicle was in twice for this and driven both times and issue could not be duplicated.Check air bag light was on in August 29th of and the seat had to be sent out to be re-calibrated and this was done.On June 1st through the 3rd they were here and made no mention of the air bag light Stated that the steering wheel is locking up Test drove vehicle miles and issue could not be duplicated Checked all components and codes and no issue was found.Previously here in November of for same issue which could not be duplicated and vehicle was test driven miles.August of customer stated vehicle doesn't want to up and brought it in but customer did not want to pay diagnostic fee

I apologize for the miscommunicationUpon following up, Mr *** warranty has been canceled, and his refund check was issued for the full refund that he was due

I am told by *** the money has been returnedI am now satisfied

9/23/15 In regard to claim #***, submitted by *** * *** We do offer financing to everyone with our CAC program with proper down payment and proof of employment. Ms*** did not meet one or both of the

when she made that statement to Greg, he had asked her to get the vehicle here.. which she did not.  [redacted] has put 28000 miles on the vehicle since she purchased it on December 14th, 2015 thru July 9th. And had only changed the oil here twice.. July 9th being the second time.  Had the oil plug not been properly installed, there would have been “splash back” on the frame of the car and oil puddling anywhere the vehicle was parked. We have not been able to confirm either.
