Vision Kia of East Rochester Reviews (%countItem)

This truck has had three complete sets of Brakes and rotors installed in 22901 miles. when I complained the water pump was making noise they replaced front pads and rotors. when I picked up truck water pump was still making noise, had to reschedule to replace water pump. After pump was installed this truck was taken back three times plus a trip to Ford in Willamson for lack of fluid. The last time I complained, they put it in writing to tear motor apart for a leak. This motor does not leak antifreeze. they improperly installed the correct amount of antifreeze. This business has improper installed parts and then making statement for me to spend more money on unnecessary repairs including improper installing brakes 3 times. Also have loss of use for all wasted time in shop.

We installed front brakes for this customer on 09/25/2015 at 44,334 miles, we did not install rear brakes at this time, only cleaned and serviced them. 21 months later we replaced the front pads and rotors again as they were worn out, the pads were a no charge item as we installed lifetime brakes the first time. We also installed rear brakes and rotors at this time, again with lifetime pads. These were the only 2 times brake work was done on this vehicle. The water pump was replaced on 07/06/2017 at 55,849 miles. it was brought back in again 8000 miles later on 02/20/2018 to be checked for an anti-freeze leak. We pressure tested the system, no leaks were found, we filled his vehicle with coolant, did a complimentary oil and filter change , all at no charge to the customer. It is possible the engine sustained internal damage from having a bad water pump originally, this would require further diagnosis to determine which the customer has been made aware of. Nothing is owed to this customer at this time.

My daughter purchased a used car in May of 2017. She used 5000.00 of her own money. In July, she found out from the DMV that their was an outstanding lien on the car and that they would rectify it. THey told her to bring the title back in and they would take care of it. On July 15 I took her to the dealership and Caroline gave them the title. They said that they would take care of it within 10 days. To date my 20 year old daughter has not received the title. They have given her the run around to which extent we will be seeking legal counsel on how to settle this matter. SHE PAID THE AMOUNT FOR THE CAR AND NEEDS THE TITLE. The only reason I (her mother) is involved is because they have been taking advantage of her.

The lien was filed in error and it has been difficult to get a lien release from Kia Motors Finance when there was never a legitimate lien originally on the vehicle. We are working diligently to resolve this matter as soon as possible and are in contact with Kia Motors Finance to obtain a release of lien so the title can be re-issued without a lien.

THis is a 19 year old young woman who purchased her first car by herself and this is not okay. She needs that lien. In addition, my daughter is diagnosed bi-polar and anxiety disorder and this ordeal has been terrible. PLEASE resolve or I will contact the attorney general.

When attempting to purchase my vehicle @ the end of my lease term, we were asked to sign a document stating that it was ok to run a credit check on my husbands credit. Because the document did not state whether it was a “soft” or “hard” inquiry, we asked both the sales representative & the finance manager to clarify, because my husband has a perfect 860 credit score. They both ensured us that it would be a soft inquiry on my husbands credit, so my husband agreed to sign the documant based in the information they provided. A few days later my husband received notification that TWO HARD inquiries were placed on his credit report, 1 from the dealerahip, itself & 1 from the bank attempting to loan the funds. When we called the dealership to see why this had happened, the fiance manager lied & said we had been informed. Upon further complaint, we received a call from the “district manager” who told us there was nothing he could do because my husband signed the document, giving them permission to run the credit, regardless of their false pretenses & that it was customary for a lending institution to run a hard inquiry & we should have “known better”, but apologized for the misinformation. When we asked then why the dealership would run a hard inquiry (since they werent lending any money & per the district manager, only those lending the money should be running the credit), he had no valid answer, other than there wasnt anything he would or could do to remove the inquiry. I contacted the financial institution whom the credit was ran through & they assured us, that it was the dealership running the credit through their “indirect lending” agreement with this bank & NOT the bank itself! We asked both the district manager & the owner of the company to please remove the credit inquiries, as we were falsely informed & signed the document based on the inaccurate, misleading information we received. The owner acknowledged their mistake & the finance manager was terminated but the company still refuses to remove the inquiries from my husbands credit.... KNOWING their company made this mistake! (I have text messages from the owner admitting the mistake & apologizing for it....however there was no attempt at resolve). These 2 hard inquiries have taken 3 points off my husbands credit score. I was treated VERY POORLY by the district manager & told he “wasnt going to go round & round with me over this”. I asked him to simply remove the credit inquiries in an attempt at simple good faith, customer service & an acknowledgment that the company made a mistake. He was VERY RUDE & dismissive. The document allowing Vision Kia of Fairport to run my husbands credit was ONLY SIGNED because we were assured it would only be a “soft inquiry”!!!!

We always get a signed permission from a customer to run their credit. Whenever this is done it shows as an inquiry on a persons credit report. I spoke with April and told her that it was always customary for us to first run credit on an individual coming to us to obtain financing for them, which is what her and her husband were doing, so we would know the customers credit situation and would know which lenders to submit a deal to. Once we ran their credit, we submitted their deal to a lender for bank approval, which results in a second inquiry by the lender. I apologized to them for the confusion over this, but there is no hard or soft inquiries when we run someone's credit, it will always show up on a persons credit bureau as an inquiry. I will provide a letter to the customer to submit to the credit bureaus explaining that they did not realize that us running their credit would show as an inquiry and would they please remove them.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

I do not care what was told to us AFTER the document was signed & the hard inquiry was done TWICE! I care that we signed the document based on their false information ONLY! I have contacted all of the credit bureaus & they have all told me that the dealership has the ability to contact the credit reporting agency to rescind the inquiries based on their errors! My husband would NOT have signed ANY DOCUMENTATION had he been properly informed BEFORE signing the document!

We have not receiced any documents, as of now, from the dealership, as thet stated im their response.

I want these inquiries removed IMMEDIATELY! The dealership needs to take accountability for their error! This is not our responsibility to rectify their errors!
