Review: I called vision optical 3 times and went in 3 times about the scratch restance I had put on my lenses. 1St time they cleaned them saw nothing wrong 2nd time same thing but was told if it happened again they would replace 3rd time told me that they would not replace because I basically didnt pay for the glasses when I spent 89.99 on frames and 25.00 on the scratch resistance. I also ended up accidentally scratching 1 lens right in the middle of my lenses was told in a smart alik attitude that they are scratch resistant not scratch proof. I would just like the lenses replaced for free since every other time I clean them they smudge or take 10 minutes to clean plus because of the scratch in one lens.Desired Settlement: Replacement of lenses with out scratch resistance.

case #9621531: I do not accept this because I was not told of the no warranty until the 3rd time I went in. I did not curse until I was outside of the store. I would just like the lenses replaced. I am very upset with the way I was treated in the store all 3 times I went in, plus being lied to was not a way to keep a customer. I did not recieve anything on the fact that I would not have a warranty nor did they say ANYTHING. I just want the lenses replaced and that will be that.

Case #9621531

[redacted] purchased glasses from Vision Optical April 3rd 2013 for the amount of $95.99. This was a sale package frame & lenses. With sale package we do not offer any type of warranty. We informed [redacted] this the day she purchased glasses.

[redacted] came in June 19th and said lenses smeared while cleaning them. My employee took them back to the lab and cleaned the lenses and there was no defect in lenses, just scratches.

[redacted] called the store again July 11th and said lenses smear every 3rd time cleaning them. I told her I was the owner and to bring glasses in so I could see them. She called the store the next day and was upset because the manager was suppose to call her back and did not. I reminded [redacted] of our conversation and that she was suppose to bring glasses in for me to look at.

[redacted] brought glasses in 7/12 and I looked at glasses. No defects, just scratches. I told her there was no warranty for scratches. She started cursing and yelling that she was going to sue us and made a huge scene.

We stand behind our work at Vision Optical. But when we inexspensive package deals we don't warranty product. We always inform the patients and document in their files. If [redacted] bought glasses at regular price we offer a two year pro rated warranty.
