The patient was examined in our Mattapan office on 6/5/and again on 6/23/She has a history of not showing for her appointments and is inconsistent with her visual complaints and complianceThe patient is allowed by her insurance provider to choose a pair of complete glasses from a specific
insurance provided collection of frames at no cost to the patientThe patient chose a frame at the time of her appointment on 6/23/and seems satisfiedWe placed the order for her glasses and the patient picked up the glassesThe patient stated she was unhappy with the fit of the frameThe patient returned to our office and the optician made several adjustments to the glasses and the patient left happy with the fitThe patient made an excessive amount of phone calls to both our offices complaining about the glasses she received after these adjustments had been madeShe stated they were the wrong glasses in one conversation and demanded to speak with the Doctor and wanted a monetary compensation for her transportation to and from our officeThe Doctor/Owner of the practice offered to meet with the patient to remedy the situation however the patient did not show up for the scheduled appointmentThe patient came into the Mattapan office again at a later date and the Optician made another adjustment to the glasses and replaced nose pads to help with comfort again the patient left happyWe try to make every effort to satisfy our patients

In response to our patient’s rebuttal there were several “no shows” 7/10/15, 11/14/14 and 7/10/14. The issue of importance is the patient’s satisfaction with her insurance provided glasses. Each time the patient returned to our office we were happy to make adjustments to her glasses to maximize comfort of the glasses chosen by the patient and the patient left happy with the fit and thanked our Optician. Glasses sometimes become misshapen due to high temperatures of the handling of the glasses by the wearer and we are always willing to make adjustments to straighten or tighten our patient’s glasses at no cost to the patient, however, we cannot be responsible for the patient's cost of transportation to and from our office for these adjustments.

 I do not agree with what they are stating as far missed appts. I had to go back three times and the glasses are still not right. At this point I would like the 40.00 refund that the Dr. said he refund to me.
