I recently attended a presentation from My Dream Shares and I feel the company misrepresented their marketing offer The marketing offer said a dinner for at Casa Di Amore, a $dining certificate, and show tickets They also said I would be staying in the SLS Las Vegas or similar What I got was:
nights at the Rio (an old dated hotel)
A for voucher to Casa Di Amore
$dining certificates that could not be used together
Buy one get one show tickets which for the shows offered can be purchased for more than 50% off at half priced tickets
They also moved my presentation date from Thursday to Friday making almost all of my vouchers worthless since I was leaving Saturday morning
I was also told that I would get a $dining voucher for my presentation date move which I did not receive For this experience I paid $and had to sit through their presentation The Rio's rate for the nights I was there was $38/ night Their presentation offer was a total rip off and extremely misleading Buyer beware

They told us that the "Premium Week Pricing" of $399, $499, $+ $exchange fee for a studio, bedroom, or bedroom RCI unit - would allow us to reserve any available RCI unit at any season or holiday Once we tried to reserve a a bedroom at the available resort of our choice, the total cost was close to $1600, not the advertised $+ $
During the sales presentation, I wanted a membership price reduction They offered to pay any Mandatory All Inclusive Fee this is in addition to their promise to pay my first stay resort fee of up to $1, Our final booking cost $1, They only covered the "All Inclusive Fee of $800"
They also offered to provide us a 3, 4, 5, 0r day cruise and all we would have to pay is government taxes and cruise line port feesWhen we got the voucher, it was for an Off Season cruise in a lower inside berth and we were asked to pay an additional $400+ in admin fees The "free cruise" after all their charges for "peak season travel in an upgraded berth turned out to be little more than a 10% discount on what we could book online - WITHOUT ANY HASSLE OR HOOPS
They also stated that they had a hotel reservation system that could save us alot on hotel stays over anything we could find through easy click or Trivago or kayak During the sales period, they were quoting real discounts of to 50% When I actually tried to book hotels, only attempt in many resulted is a savings 85% of all hotels I priced through them were the same or more expensive than what I could get online myself
BEing a member of RCI can save you money on vacations under certain circumstances BUT what we were told and what was actually delivered were two very dissimilar things!
