Visionworks sold me defective left contact lenses when returned for replacement, they blocked the ordering of contacts from Eyeconic in retaliation.
On December 30, 2017 I went to Visionworks for eye exam, contact lens fitting and to order contact lenses. I received the products after the first week of this year. I do not wear contacts everyday day but there are times when it's better to wear them versus my glasses. The left side contact lenses of Acuvue Oasys for astigmatism with hydroclear plus having lot number B00PHGM0T7 is defective with a haze type acuity. The first three lenses for the left eye were consecutively defective. I contacted the store to notify them and determine whether or not I should contact the manufacturer. They debated with me greatly that my eyes were the problem but the vision is clear with the glasses and when the right contact was place in the left eye it was clear also. I was told the doctor would call me back. I waited seven days then called the manufacturer. They spoke with the store and determined I could bring them back for replacement. However once at the store they chose only to replace the left lenses and that is fine. The manufacturer suggested instead of buying the two week interval lenses to get the daily due to longer shelf life. However, when I ordered the contacts from Eyeconic, Visionworks rebuked the order in retaliation.
