Visionary Eye Care Reviews (2)

We first met Ms *** on 08/05/for a routine eye examThis patient then purchased pairs of eyeglassesOne pair in clear, and another in a sunglass lensOn 08/16/2016, we dispensed both pairs to the patientAt the time of pick up, the patient said glasses felt wierdThe patient is a
first time progressive (multi-focal) patient and this is normalWe did ask her to take the glasses and try them out for a weekIt is for it to take some time to get used to a new prescriptionAfter about a week, the patient returned and said the sunglasses were perfect but the clear glasses felt wierd in the side of the lensI explained to her this is for a progressive and the lens design will have some distortion off in the peripheralShe then returned on 11/26/saying vision now feels blurry in the distance, the strange thing was she always said the sunglasses were greatBoth the sunglasses and clear prescriptions are the same prescription! On 11/26/she saw Dr *** for a prescription check and we made a change of prescription at no charge to her for her clear pairShe picked up the redo glasses and we did not hear from her for about a monthThe patient then came back in and said she cannot see in the side of the mirrors of her car with the new prescriptionI then again advised her all progressive (mulitfocal) will do thatShe was very upset so we scheduled her to see another Dr for the 3rd timeThe doctor made a very small change to address comfort issuesThe patient then wanted another remakeI advised her she has a time warranty, and days of doctors change, and it was over that in time and remakes(She was aware of the policy, and signed acknowledgment)She then became irate and told me now that both pairs never worked! This was the first time she ever mentioned the sunglasses, she always said the sunglasses were perfectI then called into the lab and requested another remake (3rd), they said no but I got a lab manager involved and they stated yes, but a fee of $for the clear pairI then also asked about the sunglasses being she had never used any warranty to change out the sunglassesThe lab approved to remake the sunglasses at no charge as wellI called back the patient and informed her about the charge and she was fine and wanted them ASAP with the new prescription from usShe called several times to check status with both myself and the other employeesI called her on 12/07/to advise the lenses were in for her clear pair and I needed the sunglasses frame so they could match the tintShe said ok, agreed to the $charge and was going to bring back the frameAbout a week later, she came to drop off the sunglassesAt that time, she told me she wanted another doctors prescription for the clear to be made fromThe lenses were already made for the 3rd time and I told her they would not do a 4th remake for the clearShe then got upset and left The "outside" doctors prescription she bought and demanding us to remake it with that prescription matched the original Dr***'s prescription made the first time!

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint
The vendor is missing a lot of details in between August and October I had contacted them all along letting them know the prescription is offI have always had progressive and this is not the first timeThey kept telling me it takes time to get use to it but how can one get used to it when the prescription is not measured properlyIn fact this seems like that they were trying to pass the 60-days time so they can charge me the feeI am the one who has been calling them and after leaving numerous messages, I would get a call back from themI even made an appointment with Dr*** which they cancelled at the last minute saying that Dr*** has a meeting at that timeI had to go out of my way to get an Opthalmologist to examine my eyes to determine if it is the right prescription and pay out of my pocket for the exam as the insurance doesn't cover itThe Opthalmologist said that the measurement is not correctAs a layman, even I can tell that the clear glasses measurement is offI have to wear them at the tip of my nose for me to have distant vision (and that too is blurry!)I am the one who's been calling them and once they got my business and money, they did not provide the proper service, which is the correct, and properly measured lenses for my glassesThe prescription is too strong and not measured correctlyThe sunglasses are oversized and perhaps the reason for them to be little bit better then the clear glasses but still too powerful for my visionI have spent more than $on both prescription that I am not able to use due to their incompetencyAt this point, I want my full refund from them because they are not able to fix the problem free of costAlso the frame they sold me for the clear glasses are very fragileThe lenses came off that I had to take back to them so they can put it back in. My experience with them has been very unpleasant as I felt harassed by Dee, the front desk personI don't feel comfortable with them.
Regards,
