Request for a refund of previously purchased tickets, due to Covid-19, has been denied.
I requested a refund in the amount of over $1,200 for tickets I purchased in February
to visit*** Orlando this June. The request was denied, stating the tickets validity are extended until December of 2021. Essentially, we are being forced to visit this park not knowing what the future holds by this date or just let them have our money in exchange for nothing. This is completely unjust. It is my money and these extenuating circumstances should be cause for them to re-evaluate their policy at this time.

Purchase Date:February 23, 2020

Product Purchased: Five 2 park 2 day base entry tickets

Order Number***

Purchase Amount:$1200.84

Purchase Name:

Desired Outcome

My greatest hope for filing this complaint with the Revdex.com is that I receive a refund in full. Also, for other people who may be in my family's same situation receive fair compensation for their purchases due to the unforeseen Covid-19 outbreak. This could not have been predicted and Visit Orlando's refund policy should change due to this.

Operations Manager spoke to customer on May 01, 2020. Advised the request of refund is not being denied it is because we are unable to process the request due to our offices our closed due to stay at home order by the city. Explained to customer we will be able to work on refund request when we are are back in our offices. Advised no timeline at this time. Customer understood. I (Operation Manager) also provided my contact information so customer can reach out to me directly, and I can provide update.

Trip from uk rescheduled july 2020 to august 2021. Have *** tickets expiring oct 2020. No way of extending or using credit for next year £520
We booked *** 3 day park and dining package via visit Orlando. Ref* expires 5/10/2020 Travelling from uk trip was booked for early July 2020. Due to Covid-19 have rescheduled trip for August 21st 2021 until september 11th 2021 contacted Visit Orlando today to ask if we could extend expiry date to cover this trip. They said no it expires october even with the current situation. I asked if we could use the credit of them towards new tickets for next year they said no so basically use them by October or lose them. We weren't asking for a refund! I know for a fact that *** have extended the expiry dates for uk bought tickets for 2020 upto December 2021 due to the current travel difficulties. Visit Orlando advertise on British TV to buy tickets from them which was how we knew about their company. If they cant offer the same service that British companies can then they shouldn't be advertising on British tv. Absolutely no protection at all even in these exceptional circumstances. We have tickets with other companies wdw and ksc via floridatix which have been accommodating and extended tickets through to next year. Even uk companies are offering extension to expiry dates for *** tickets but US companies cant? Or specifically Visit Orlando wont? £520 wasted At the end of the day we intended to visit this year as a 50th birthday celebration so its upsetting already to have to rearrange the holiday and now on top of that be financially out of pocket for something that is out of our control.

Desired Outcome

We would either like them to extend the expiry of the tickets to 11/09/2021 or allow us to use the credit to buy new tickets for the following year

I contacted Mr. today by phone and provided him an update. We have reached out to ***, Mr. tickets will be extended until Sept. 30, 2021. I advised him that *** Guest Service Representative will be contacting him in the future in regards to the replacement tickets. Mr *** is satisfied with the resolution provided.

Purchased 4 park tickets and tickets were lost in mail. Was told to wait. Waited finally received refund now tickets aren't available or sold anymore
Purchased 4 park tickets and tickets were lost in mail. Was told to wait. Waited finally received refund now tickets aren't available or sold anymore. Tickets are almost double expected price to pay. I called in to ask if anything can be done and they are claiming to have lost money so they won't even help me only offering me to pay this high price to replace ticket

Desired Outcome

Sell me 4 days *** ticket for the price I paid
