Visiting Nurses

Review: We contracted with Visiting Nurses in August 2013. We then immediately began treating their patients for home health physical therapy and occupational therapy. There were no issues until we did not get paid from the agency. We submit billing to every agency every Monday morning. When I called the Owner/[redacted] to find out why we had not yet been paid, I was told we had to wait until they received reimbursement. That is not what was in our contract. The contract states that the agency has 7 days from the date of the invoice to submit a check for the total amount owed. We worked out a payment plan with the agency because they were a new agency. They have yet to follow through with their end of the agreement. We saw their patients for 3 months with very little reimbursement in return. We followed through with the care of each patient until our orders were finished. They currently owe us $9,438 and are avoiding calls, emails, and text messages that are being sent to collect on the balance.Desired Settlement: We would like to stop charging late fees and collect the full amount due. Today the amount is $9,438. But after tomorrow, the total amount due will be $9,910.37. That includes the 5% late fee to be assessed at the first of every month ending with a balance, per our contract.
