Vista College is sorry that Mr [redacted] feels that his experience was below his expectationsWe strive to provide every student with a high-quality educational experience that ultimately leads to the student finding employment in his or her field of choiceIn Mr [redacted] ’s case, he was a very successful student who progressed through the program with strong attendance and grades, quickly earned his Medical Assisting certification, had glowing assessments during his externship, and was ultimately hired by his externship employerHis outcome appears to indicate that the promise of an educational program that prepares one to enter the workforce of a new vocation was metIt is concerning to hear Mr [redacted] ’s negative comments about, from his perspective, the many challenges he encounteredIt’s unclear how his outcomes could have been so positive had all of the perceived obstacles existed, or how he believes he did not receive value from completing his education with Vista CollegeAdditionally, the Medical Assistant program at this campus reports consistently strong completion and placement outcomes to our national accreditor, an additional indicator of overall student successMr [redacted] notes that he could not receive his diploma for an extended period of timeThe Vista College policy is to not release diplomas to graduates who are not in good financial standingFor that period, Mr [redacted] did not pay one of his fees, and had an outstanding balance that was ultimately sent to collectionsIn the interest of clearing his record, the campus has removed the outstanding balance from collections, zeroing out Mr [redacted] ’s ledger with the campus, and has provided him with his diplomaHopefully, this has alleviated his concerns in this area Tell us why here

The campus will release the transcript to the student's employer to facilitate the employment process.

We’re sorry that Ms. [redacted] believes our institution to be unprofessional. We strive to conduct ourselves professionally, especially in the adherence to, and application of, our policies and procedures. Our policy is to provide the NCLEX voucher to any graduate in good financial standing with the institution (with no outstanding balance.) Ms. [redacted] is aware of this, and the “another person” she has been told to contact is in order to address this balance. Ms. [redacted] started as a student at the Vista College El Paso campus October 8, 2012. She continued the enrollment until December 20, 2013 at which point she was dismissed from the program. We allowed Ms. [redacted] to transfer and complete her degree at the Vista College Las Cruces campus, including applying all previously-earned credits. She started March 10, 2014 and graduated June 26, 2014.  To date, Ms. [redacted] owes Vista College $6,981.00 and does not appear to be acknowledging her obligation, nor is she making an attempt to either make a payment or set up a payment plan. Only upon some resolution of this outstanding balance would we be able to consider paying $200.00 for her NCLEX exam. In addition, we find her demand of a full refund to be unfounded. If Ms. [redacted] wishes to resolve this matter, please have her contact Don Vu at [redacted], or ###-###-####, ext. [redacted].

went to school for my LVN. The test is to take my LVN NCLEX which is $200 and which should have been paid for by the school it was included in my tuition. Anytime I have contacted this facility no one is willing to help me get the end result I need. I paid $40,000 to go to a school that will not help becoming an LVN easier. Technically I WASTED my time and money because have NOTHING to show for it. There have been multiple cases where I have had to call and email repeatedly before receiving any type of response. This is very frustrating when I am trying to provide for my family. It has been almost 2 years of fighting with this company to take a simple test. This school put me in debt over the last two years by holding me back and never helping me out like they claim they will. Desired Outcome: I would like the school to refund ALL my money and FINALLY give me my voucher to test so I can provide for my family when my husband retires from the army.

successful student who progressed through the program with strong attendance and grades, quickly earned his Medical Assisting certification, had glowing assessments during his externship, and was ultimately hired by his externship employer. His outcome appears to indicate that the promise of an educational program that prepares one to enter the workforce of a new vocation was met. It is concerning to hear Mr. [redacted]’s negative comments about, from his perspective, the many challenges he encountered. It’s unclear how his outcomes could have been so positive had all of the perceived obstacles existed, or how he believes he did not receive value from completing his education with Vista College. Additionally, the Medical Assistant program at this campus reports consistently strong completion and placement outcomes to our national accreditor, an additional indicator of overall student success. Mr. [redacted] notes that he could not receive his diploma for an extended period of time. The Vista College policy is to not release diplomas to graduates who are not in good financial standing. In the interest of clearing his record, the campus has removed the outstanding balance from collections, zeroing out Mr. [redacted]’s ledger with the campus, and has provided him with his diploma. Hopefully, this has alleviated his concerns in this area.   Tell us why here...
