Review: Vista logistics transported my vehicle from Los Angeles, CA to Maplewood, NJ in August 2014. Order#[redacted]. Upon delivery of my vehicle, my wife noticed that they damaged the f[redacted]t and rear bumper of the vehicle during transit. The Vista Logistics driver noted damage in three areas on the bill of lading and signed the document. My wife refused to sign the bill of lading when she took possession of the vehicle, rather she printed her name to show she received it. First, we contacted Vista Logistics in August 2014 to resolve the issue. I spoke with their manager Terry Zhou and an employee named [redacted] to discuss how we should proceed in repairing the damage. They asked me to send pictures showing the damage, which I did. Second, I obtained an estimate from a local body shop and submitted the estimate which totaled over $1,111. Third, I contacted their insurance company Adriatic Insurance and I was told that Vista Logistics would pay me directly for the claim given it was close to their deductible of $1,000. After a number of communications back and forth, Vista decided they were not satisfied with the estimate and they asked me to provide three estimates and more pictures. They then said my pictures were not the color of my vehicle. Lastly, they said they were investigating their driver. I refused to waste my time obtaining additional estimates and listening to lies so I filed a claim with my own Insurance company, Wawanesa Insurance. My claims adjuster provided Vista with additional pictures and spoke with "[redacted]". [redacted] indicated to my insurance adjuster that yet again they would pay me directly for the damage so that I can fix my vehicle. It has been four months since Vista Logistics transported and damaged my vehicle and at this point they have still not paid the claim. This is unbelievable and I am kicking myself for allowing Vista Logistics to transport my vehicle. If this is not resolved this month I will ask my insurance company to put this debt into collectionDesired Settlement: Vista Logistics needs to pay me $1,111.73 for the damage of my vehicle so that I can repair it immediately.

Insurance claim has come to a resolution, Vista Logistics has decided to award [redacted] for the damages on his 2004 Mazda 3 as is working directly with the consumer.After calling Mr. [redacted] 1/7/2015, he explained that his insurance company had already issued payment for his vehicle and redirected us to deal with his insurance directly. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Wawanesa Insurance has issued a partial payment for my loss, less my deductible of $500. They have transferred my claim to their subrogation department today in an effort to collect the full amount of the claim from Vista Logistics. Subrogation is the right for an insurer to pursue a third party that caused an insurance loss to the insured. This is done as a means of recovering the amount of the claim paid to the insured for the loss. As of today 1/7/15 Vista Logistics has not made one payment to settle this debt. I will like to see this claim settled quickly and recommend that Vista Logistics contact my insurance adjuster. I have provided [redacted] with my insurance adjuster's contact information. In fact, my adjuster contacted [redacted] a number of times so he should already have this information.
