This comment concerns the Vista Window Company replacement guarantee.
Had all windows replaced after a tornado in 2011. After 2 years, a seal went bad on a sash. Called Vista and it was covered and replaced quickly. Now after 5 years, that replacement and 3 other sashes developed seal issues creating unsightly fogging and mold between the panes. Vista promptly issued WO numbers but no news since, I keep calling and they tell me customer orders have been placed on hold and that they'll call me back "with instructions on how to proceed" (not sure what that means). Customer service is very professional on the phone but I get the idea that there's a production issue. It's been two 2 months now and have no idea when or if I'll get replacements. The affected windows have lost their insulation ability, are an eyesore and quickly becoming irritating to look out of.
Refer to my previous (Jim R) neutral comment posted Jan 2017 concerning mold and fogging of multiple window saches. Based on the comment, I was contacted by the company. Over the course of two weeks, they sent multiple emails requesting further information on the saches presumably to honor my replacement request. Since then, silent.
