In response to complaint # [redacted] , regarding the cost of a multifocal contact lens examination, this patient was sent an email advertising our contact lens exam for $[redacted] (some restrictions apply)Our self pay promotional cost for a multifocal exam is $175, however, this patient has vision insurance that offers a better out of pocket of $On the receipt we itemized all of the costs of the services rendered regarding this type of exam, the usual and customary costs, as well as the adjusted amounts with her insuranceThe refraction (U&C $59) and comprehensive exam (U&C $166) were covered in full by the patients planThe contact lens evaluation (U&C $175) was discounted to $Please let us know if there are any other questions that we can answer regarding this complaint
