I purchased a entire jar of vita coco coconut oil 54 oz. for $19.99 as I have done in the past on march 4, 2019. I still had a partial jar that was almost finished and felt no need to open the new jar to make sure it was okay. I assumed it would be fine since the last jar was fine. I opened recently to make some homemade chocolates that I make often. When I went to eat one it tasted bad so I assumed it was the sunflower butter I added to the recipe that just didn't taste right. About a week and a half later I made some more without the sunflower butter and it still tasted awful. Found out by tasting the coconut oil directly that it was rancid! Also I had just missed the deadline to return it. I am beyond disgusted that I paid $20 for something rotten and that I also put this into my body! Where is the customer service telephone number? I can't find one. I ordered this from amazon order #112-0581621-7136242 if someone from customer service could please help me. I would like to give the chance for this issue to be resolved before I leave an extremely scathing review on Amazon. Did you sell your company to Nestle or something? what happened? Does not seem as if you care about your customers anymore. I know one thing.. I will never buy another one of your products again and will make my review heard loud and clear on amazon if I get no response. You should not be mailed a brand new rotten product for $20 with no way to talk to someone over the phone and no way to get the problem resolved or complain without leaving your email address in which according to other reviewers won't be returned anyway.

I used to love Vita Coco than other brands but now Vita Coco's product quality has been going down and seems like they don't care anymore. Used to buy in Costco and now the coconut water is becoming more stale and not sure if they are doing any kind of cost cutting or changed suppliers hence reflecting poor taste.

I recently bought a carton of vita coco "pure" coconut water, only to discover the flavor was noticeably sweet compared to its past product. The label now reads that it has up to 1% fruit juice sweetener, which in my opinion means it's no longer pure. It also tastes awful with the sweetener.

Review: I purchased a case of 1-liter Vita Coco Pure Coconut Water and at least 3 liters contained shredded pieces of plastic. At first I thought it was odd that now there are pieces of coconut but shrugged my shoulders and continued consuming the product. That is until I came across a fairly long piece that felt around in my mouth and when I took it out to analyze it, that's when I realized it was plastic. Checked a few more of the 'chunks' hoping it was a one-off but it undoubtedly plastic. I decided to inspect an unopened one by pouring it into a clear carafe and it too contained pieces of plastic. That one not as much. I emailed the company but not hopeful to a response since someone else had reported worse, chunks of mold, and never heard back. I have video, pictures, and saved at least one open container and one unopened, if needed.Desired Settlement: To my knowledge, there was no adverse reaction to consuming pieces of plastic from a couple of liters. And as much as I'd love to get my money back for the case I purchased, I am placing this complaint for awareness and hope that better care is taken to ensure the consumption is nothing more than what is stated.
