A Collision repair was completed for the customer in October of This was an Insurance job and all Parts and Labor were provided as per the written estimate-Aftermarket parts were usedmonths later the customer returned to have other (non-related) work done and they pointed out some rust spots weeping from the inside seems of the tail gate as well as some pitting on rear chrome bumperIt may be noted that the tailgate had several scratches (which is not surprising because it appeared to be a work vehicle) Our business discussed options with the customer, took photos of the areas of concern (I still have the photos) and I made multiple phone calls and emails to the aftermarket vendor ( [redacted] ) to try to get warranty partsThe rear Chrome bumper was in fact replaced for the customer at no charge for parts or laborOur request for warranty of the taillgate was denied by the vendor The customer has used our services several times since this date and we felt that we had a good working relationship with themIt is surprising to see this complaint at such a late date, especially after the effort I went to try to satisfy them
