Again from the picture I ordered from, it looked gray, that is what I thought I ordered!! As far as lay-flatThis chair says in the description, it LAYS_ FLAT, It does not lay flatThere are chairs on the market that do indeed lay flatThis one does recline, but does not LAY FLAT! It is a deceptive description! We have not used this chairIt still has the tags and any other things that it came withAll we are asking is come and get the chair and give us our money backWe will buy a chair that lays flatMy wife was to use this chair as a bed as well as a reclinerShe is disabled and spends her days in our living room either sleeping or watching TVThat is why we insist that the chair LAY FLAT
