VIUS

Review: The [redacted] ([redacted]) contracted with [redacted] Designs, LLC, owned and operated by brothers Vinh and Qui C[redacted] for a project to enhance [redacted]s website. [redacted] paid over $50K for this project in advance of completion. During the course of the project, Vinh and Qui had a falling out and separated; with Vinh C[redacted] forming VIUS, LLC, and Qui C[redacted] forming [redacted] was not given advance notice of this split, and the work was left undone. The Web Development Agreement signed by [redacted] and [redacted] Designs prohibits assignment without express prior written consent. After the split, [redacted] contacted [redacted] stating that they would finish the project. However, [redacted] didn't have the capability to do so, as key employees needed to complete the work were now working with Vinh at VIUS. After months of frustration, VIUS and [redacted] agreed to work together and share resources to complete the project. Ultimately, they failed to complete the work. [redacted] lost additional grants, and had to pay another firm to complete the project. At the time of this complaint [redacted] website (www.[redacted].com) automatically redirects to http://www.vius.co/, and [redacted] no longer appears to be in business, as Qui C[redacted] is currently working as a realtor http://quic[redacted].[redacted].com/.Desired Settlement: While [redacted] would like a refund of all amounts paid, we would be willing to accept a refund of some portion of the amounts paid in order to resolve this complaint.
