The customer dined with us for brunch on Saturday April *. From my investigation, apparently her card was swiped twice because the server thought the initial transaction was declined. The customer did call in to speak with the manager on duty, the matter was discussed and her information taken. She...
was told that the bookkeeper would give her a follow up on monday morning, because no one on premises had access to verify credit card transactions.On Monday April **, the customer was contacted by the book keeper who verified that neither the original or duplicate transaction had been processed but were showing as pending in the customers account.The customer was offered our apologies and advised to speak with her bank to have transaction removed.After a few minutes the book keeper followed up with the customer who said she had called her bank and had the the transaction removed and all was well.DISPUTE RESOLVED TIMELY AND AMICABLY.
