Vivobarefoot Reviews (3)
Review: I ordered a pair of VivoBarefoot Off Road Hi "barefoot" style boots. The left boot came with a defective inner lining by the heel. I noticed this after wearing the boots for the first time. It caused a lot of abrasion and discomfort. I compared the left and right shoes and was assured that the left was defective.
I emailed the customer service department alerting them that I have received a defective shoe. I received an automated email stating that I would be contacted within 24 hours. That is the last I have heard from them, and it has been over a month now.
This is a high-end shoe purchased online, and while I love the right shoe, I could never recommend doing business with this company due to their unresponsiveness and lack of concern over the quality of their product.Desired Settlement: As I said, I love the right shoe, and still want a proper pair of boots. I would consider myself recompensed if I received a left boot or pair without defects.
Review: I ordered a pair of shoes from Vivobarefoot.com on Feb. 7, 2014 and received them on Feb. 12, 2014. My husband tried them on and realized they did not fit, so we immediately filled out the exchange form, placed it in the box where we were old to, and took them to [redacted] (which vivobarefoot requested that we use for exchanges). They were shipped back to vivobarefoot at [redacted] on Feb. 12, 2014. The tracking number is [redacted], and according to [redacted] it was signed for by "Vinny" on Feb 18, 2014 at 10:48 am. I contacted vivobarefoot on Feb. 28 to find out the status of my exchange and was replied to by Anthony shortly after asking for tracking info, which I promptly gave him. I then emailed again on March 3 asking if he had figured anything out, which he then replied to asking for my tracking number, which I gave him again. I then emailed him on March 5 asking if there was any more news, which he still has not replied to. I then called the company at the number listed on vivobarefoot.com on March 7 and the lady that answered gave me a second number to call for another company that handled their exchanges, which I called and got an answering machine. I left a message with my phone number. I then called again March 10, and got a call back 2 hours later (but no message) which I unfortunately missed because I was driving. I immediately called them back and got an answering machine. I called again today, March 11 and got an answering machine.Desired Settlement: I had originally wanted a new pair of shoes in the correct size (us mens 9), but honestly at this point I just want my money back so I can order my husband a different pair of shoes.
Review: On March 26, 2014 I received an email saying that my order of two pairs of shoes had shipped. When the package arrived several days later, there was only 1 pair of shoes in the package. I had been charged for both pairs of shoes. I emailed the company and got no response. I called several days later and they said they would ship me the shoes overnight. The shoes did not arrive the next day, so I waited another couple days and emailed because I was going out of town. No response for several weeks. I call again and they say they cannot ship the shoes because they are out of stock. (In a typical retailer, you substitute a comparable product.) On May 19, 2014 the company told me they would refund $45.80 but that it may take 8-10 business days for the credit to appear on my credit card account. It has now been 13 business days and I still see no evidence of a credit to my credit card account.Desired Settlement: A refund of my money or a comparable pair of shoes.
