I rented an apartment from this company it's been over 30 days since I have been out of the unit they are not answering the phones they are not returning messages they refuse to return my deposit. I have been calling and leaving messages I have video recordings of the units no one is contact me back all I want is my deposit that can someone please help me

I rented with this company and they were incredible shady. Multiple times there were water leak issues going into the apartment below and they would not send someone to fix for days. I tried contacting the manager *** for weeks to set up a walk through as I was moving out to a new state. The day before my move out date *** called me back and said he would meet me at 4:30. At 5 pm I had to leave in my Uhaul with no walk through but I took a video of the apartment suspecting Hoe would try to keep my deposit for no reason based on many past experiences with him. I asked for an itemized bill and was provided 1week later with an invoice *** made with rounded numbers. I advised *** he legal has to provide an itemized bill with venders and exact amounts and I stated two of the items should not have been deducted (cleaning and painting, I hired a professional cleaner and in the video you can see the walls were fine). *** nor his assistant Mia ever responded. I also told *** to deduct carpet charges from the deposit he legal has to provide the year the carpet was purchased, and the life expectancy of the carpet to determine the remaining life cost of the carpet (I was sure he was over charging), he again never answered. He will not answer the phone, email, or text and has not returned the deposit that was disputed. It has now been a month and a half with no resolution.
