Hi my name is Victor C [redacted] on behalf of VJC Kitchen and Bath InnovationsOn the complaint of the customer, I met with him and his wife on November 22, I received a deposit of $on a total balance of $we then signed a contract stating that the 50% was a non-refundable deposit I then told him that I would be in touch, that is when he stated that he needed his countertops installed by Christmas I told him that I would do my best to fulfill his request but I was to days out for installHe then told me he was going to expect me to be at his house installing on December 12, I never agreed to that dateHe said he would contact me about his sink template which is in the contract to have on site for the template but was notHe contacted me two days later ? to let me know that I would have to come by and pick it up out of his mailbox which is something my company does not do, so it slipped my mindI contacted the customer days after that and told them that I did not get to go by their residence to get the templateHe then texted me and demanded that I was going to call every [redacted] in the state until I found his sink template so I got to work, I did track one down but to my surprise he gave me information as to what sink he actually hadThe next day I contacted him to verify the sink template and he stated that it was wrong and he would have to do it himself to insure that it was done properlyHe contacted me back on December 16, I had to drive miles out of my way to get the templateWhen I got to my shop I started cutting and fabricating the sinkI contacted him on December 18, to make sure he was going to be at the house for install on December 19, He told me he would be thereOn my way to his residence I discovered that a small piece of the sink had broken next to the seam location due to pot holes on the roadI called him and advised him of this and gave him two options I can fix and install the countertops that I have so you will have countertops for Christmas and see if you want different ones made after the holidays or I can get a new piece and cut and fabricate it and get it out to you, that is when he said he wants new pieces and hung up on me before I could tell him when I could get that taken care of for himI was going to purchase another slab at that point I had to wait until Monday morning when my supplier opened upOn December 21, I woke up to a text message stating that I did another no call no show he also stated if I did not have him a refund by December 23, he would contact the [redacted] office the Revdex.com and the Columbus police departmentUnfortunately he gave me information as I received a letter from another company stating the same complaint on December 22, and a very bad review on a websiteI have a written contract spelling out that there is a 50% non-refundable deposit so this customer has refused every option that was given to him and now refuses to contact me back about this matterI contacted this customer for six days with no response, then on day seven he told me to direct everything to the [redacted] officeI am sorry it has came to this but I cannot give this customer a refund due to the nature that the customer made a custom order and then backed out of the contract, this is why contracts are put in place for things like thisPlease contact me if you have any further questions on this matter.Sincerely,Victor C [redacted] ***VJC Kitchen and Bath Innovations [redacted] ? ? ###-###-####

In response to # *** from *** *** against our company VJC Kitchen and Bath Innovations, we just now received the letter due to moving out of stateOur response to this complaint is very simpleWe met with *** *** at her home around May 24, While I, Victor C*** walked through
with *** explaining the layout of her cabinetsIn that time my company just started carrying cabinets and yet to have the software for the layouts*** was well aware of thisAs we continued with the layout I physically showed *** the exact placement of everything, She o.k.'d everything and agreed to the layout, approving everythingAs to the details I also told *** that with my supplier, we have to make sure its exactly what she wants because once my supplier builds the cabinets they will not exchange or replace any cabinets as they are custom orderedIf you change the layout at all you will have to purchase anything that you change as a new orderWe thoroughly made sure that it was clear several times, again she was well aware of this and agreed *** *** finally ordered cabinets from our company on June 13, 2016, the wait was because of her contractor taking time on her job to make more money*** wrote our company a $check for her cabinets on June13,.*** dropped the check off at our showroom and slid it under the doorWe told her we would rather her stay for minutes longer to meet her there to give a receipt and have her sign a contractShe then told us she did not have the time and basically refused to get a receipt or sign a contractBy the time we arrived she was already gone and the check was under the door like she saidThe cabinets were ordered from my supplier on June 14, The very next dayAll of her cabinets were delivered to her home days later on June 24, So as to her response as the problem occurred on the of June is because days was not fast enough for her as for other companies were several weeks outOnce the cabinets arrived and everything was settled *** started contacting my company complaining of damages the following week of the She sent us pictures of the couple damagesI instantly contacted my sales rep and had them replace everything that was damagedAll of her replacement cabinets were delivered to her driveway on July 8, Then after that she found some more damages of scuffs and we also had those replaced and they were delivered on July and the one was on back order and was delivered on July She then had everything she orderedThen she started texting me saying she only needed the faces off the cabinets and did not need the whole thing and was complaining of the cabinets being in her garageWe told her they were hers she had replaced because they do not part the cabinets out they don't send pieces they send whole cabinetsThen it went to once the contractor finally started hanging the cabinets she no longer liked the way the upper cabinets looked with the layout and wanted to change itShe contacted us back and told us about the changes she wants to makeShe told us to come get the uppers she no longer wanted and wanted them exchangedWe went to get them and yet again told her about no return or exchangeWhen we told her pricing she then started complaining that all the wait on the cabinets being damaged and shipped was my suppliers fault and they needed to refund her back her money and replace all the uppers to what she wanted for the new layoutWe then told her again that they do not exchange or return any cabinetsShe went on to complaining and harassing us DAILY asking about the updates on her cabinets and when they were going to be deliveredWe repeatedly told her she had to purchase new cabinets to replace the ones she no longer wantedThis has been ongoing since June to the end of August until we relocated our company to another state and changed our numberShe then started emailing harassing us saying we were running from her and scammed her which is not the truth at allWe delivered all her cabinets that she ordered from my companyShe wanted to change the layout but never purchased or put money down for new cabinetsI think us relocating made her mad because she no longer can order from us to complete her layoutThat's not our faults she is trying to get a kitchen remodel for freeShe wrote on the complaint that she ordered granite and granite install too from our companyThat is far from the truthShe went and picked out a slab but never put one penny down on any graniteShe paid for cabinets only and we have all the text messages proving that discussionShe purchased cabinets only for the $So for her dispute of wanting refunded $or a slab of granite, neither one are happening$was for cabinets onlyShe is wanting her new layout for free and now a slab of granite for free and have it all installed for freeThis is absurd and will not be tolerated from my companyWe owe this woman nothing as to we delivered everything she orderedWe have the receipt that she never waited on proving our case of cabinets were the only thing purchased and all the text messages with all details and discussions madeWe also have all the orders and delivery papers from her cabinets.Thank youVictor C***VJC Kitchen and Bath Innovations

I then told him that I would be in touch, that is when he stated that he needed his countertops installed by Christmas I told him that I would do my best to fulfill his request but I was 21 to 28 days out for install. He then told me he was going to expect me to be at his house installing on December 12, 2015 I never agreed to that date. He said he would contact me about his sink template which is in the contract to have on site for the template but was not. He contacted me two days later  to let me know that I would have to come by and pick it up out of his mailbox which is something my company does not do, so it slipped my mind. I contacted the customer 2 days after that and told them that I did not get to go by their residence to get the template. He then texted me and demanded that I was going to call every [redacted] in the state until I found his sink template so I got to work, I did track one down but to my surprise he gave me false information as to what sink he actually had.
