A few weeks ago my Honda broke down. I was pretty sure it was the transmission because another mechanic told me I would be needing a new one soon and it would cost about $3000 that I didn't have. A Sheriff Deputy stopped to help me move my car out of the road and as we were talking, ha happened to mention VJ's. He said they fix the personal cars for most of the cops at his station. I called them, they sent a tow truck right away and I told them I already knew I needed a new transmission. A little while later the manager told me it was just the transmission cooler line that was leaking. They fixed it for practicality nothing, added fluid and the car has been running fine ever since. As far as I'm concerned, they saved me 3 grand! Refreshingly honest! Knowledgeable mechanics and excellent customer service. I never thought I'd say that about a car repair place. This is my new place to take my car.
