I am rejecting this response because: [redacted] did in fact try deal with me directly however he only offered to compensate for the repair if I took it to his suggested body shopWhich I find very fishyWhat does it matter if the shop I know will do it right repairs it or if a shop he wants me to take it to does I told him multiple times he can directly pay the body shop for the repairThey also said they would do their best to repair it locally before resorting to repainting the whole bumperWhich I would be perfectly ok with, if that is what they thought would be bestI can also agree that my car as whole is not "ruined" however my brand new paint job isThis is also not "one tiny scratch" it is multiple cuts into the paint Which I now question whether he is even certified to install this material I also find it disturbing that he insists I am "bent out of shape" when I am actually am very upset about thisI worked hard to purchase this car which he clearly has no respect for This will definitely negatively impact the resale valueIf someone comes to purchase this and sees cut marks all over the lower portion of the bumper that is going to raise red flags and possibly ruin any chance of making a saleAlso the same could be if I later decide to trade it inHaving rock chips is one thingThat is natural damage that is generally acceptable to the used car shopperBut when you see man made scratches and cuts then it will definitely hurt the valueIt doesn't matter if other people do not notice the cuts (which I have been asked multiple times "Hey, what is wrong with your bumper?") I am the one that paid for itI need to be happy with itEvery time I wash and wax my car I see the damage and just makes me sickI have no intentions of ruining anyone's reputation but I do believe in informing they public on true events Hopefully my review can save someone the headache and damage I am going through I also find it very insulting when he say's I still owe him moneyHe told me a $deposit through paypal and he would order the materialOnce it arrived I could get a cash discount and only have to pay $moreI have never seen the invoice he has attached in my lifeThe only invoice I received is the one I received through paypal

Please excuse the time it has taken me to reply to this overly exaggerated claim as I was trying to handle the customer's issue with him directly Which ended up not going anywhere since this guy has other alternative motives behind his claim He is not being honest at all in his claim
and leaves out some very important facts in order to make this seem like his car was ruined or had some type of serious damage when the micro scratch on the bottom of his bumper is anything but what would be considered damage The tiny scratch can easily be corrected but this guy seems to think I should pay to have the film removed from the bumper, pay to have "his" body shop completely strip all the paint from the bumper and then repaint the bumper, which I will not agree toWhen we have an exotic vehicle that needs any type of paint work which requires a body shop we send them to Car Tech Auto Collision and I told Jeremy that if he feels like what he sees needs the attention of a body shop that he could take it to them and I will pay for the service that they performed to correct the tiny micro scratch on the bottom of his bumper that he is so bent out of shape about, and he refusedWhich tells me that he is not so concerned with some micro scratch that nobody would see on the bottom of his bumper but what he is concerned about is to try and put cash in his pocket at my expense I work on high-end exotic cars on a daily basis and have a great reputation for the work that I do and that is done at my shop, and for this guy to want and tarnish my reputation after I bent over backwards to make him happy going above and beyond what anyone else would have is very upsetting and completely wrong on many levels And he is doing all of this when I still have an unpaid balance for the work on his car making this even more unacceptable

I am rejecting this response because:[redacted] did in fact try deal with me directly however he only offered to compensate for the repair if I took it to his suggested body shop. Which I find very fishy. What does it matter if the shop I know will do it right repairs it or if a shop he wants me to take it to does.  I told him multiple times he can directly pay the body shop for the repair. They also said they would do their best to repair it locally before resorting to repainting the whole bumper. Which I would be perfectly ok with, if that is what they thought would be best. I can also agree that my car as whole is not "ruined" however my brand new paint job is. This is also not "one tiny scratch" it is multiple cuts into the paint.  Which I now question whether he is even certified to install this material.  I also find it disturbing that he insists I am "bent out of shape" when I am actually am very upset about this. I worked hard to purchase this car which he clearly has no respect for.  1. This will definitely negatively impact the resale value. If someone comes to purchase this and sees cut marks all over the lower portion of the bumper that is going to raise red flags and possibly ruin any chance of making a sale. Also the same could be if I later decide to trade it in. Having rock chips is one thing. That is natural damage that is generally acceptable to the used car shopper. But when you see man made scratches and cuts then it will definitely hurt the value.2. It doesn't matter if other people do not notice the cuts (which I have been asked multiple times "Hey, what is wrong with your bumper?") I am the one that paid for it. I need to be happy with it. Every time I wash and wax my car I see the damage and just makes me sick. I have no intentions of ruining anyone's reputation but I do believe in informing they public on true events.  Hopefully my review can save someone the headache and damage I am going through.  I also find it very insulting when he say's I still owe him money. He told me a $150 deposit through paypal and he would order the material. Once it arrived I could get a cash discount and only have to pay $250 more. I have never seen the invoice he has attached in my life. The only invoice I received is the one I received through paypal.
