*** *** purchased the Dodge Ram 01/17/2017, after the sale Mr*** called and spoke to the salesman and expressed concern about the transmission slipping; *** instructed Mr*** to bring the vehicle inMr*** came in and he and *** drove the vehicle approximately 1.5-miles
and the transmission did not slip or operate improperly in any way during that timeMr*** decided to take the vehicle to Quality Transmission, for which we have no affiliation with for inspection and sent in a copy of the invoice; *** told him that he would get back with him after he spoke to the ManagerThe diagnosis on the invoice indicated that the pan was pulled and found metal in pan also test drove found clutch Lip seal is hard so the 2-shift is long when cold, but this invoice did not state that the part had failedThe invoice stated the price for a rebuilt transmission would be $+ tax. *** explained to Mr*** we would not pay for the repair because the transmission was still operating and not slipping and the part had not failed; the Limited Extended warranty provided by the dealership as a protection to the customer only covers failed partsWe did not authorize payment for this repair nor was given a notice of the other repair shop, if in fact if the transmission failed we would have taken care of the repair internally as agreed in the Limited Covered warranty providedPlease also note that Vogue Motor Company offerered the ability for the customer to protect the vehicle investment to purchase a Consumer Protection Service Contract and declined the purchase and signed a waiver of benefits Bottom line when we last saw the vehicle, it was operating without a transmission problemVogue did not authorize any repairs

The Shop that the customer took the car too, charged us $to repair the Sun Shade and we we received a call from the customer that the repair did not workBecause the shop where we have normally done business with has moved, we told the customer, if he can drop his car to us we will bring the car to the shop, which is located in Union Mo and pay for the 2nd repair, we are trying to make this right for our customer and at this time he doesn't want to do this

This complaint took us by surprise because we agreed to this repair and put it in writing and was communicating with the customerThe confusion with the shop was that it had moved after being in busines for years and we had not been made aware of the move, however we found a local shop in North
County and agreed to have them repair the sun shade so it will open and close properlyThe Customer has already brought the vehicle to the shop and we have authorized the repair at our expense

Attached is a copy of the Vehicle Buyers order and the We owe document from the delivery of the vehicle to the customer. It was very clear that the admninistrative fee was being charged to her, we do not waive this fee to any of our customers, If we waived it for one we would need to waive it for...

others. The we owe does not reflect any promise of a scratch to be buffed out, but as a goodwill gesture we will attempt to buff out the scratch on the vehicle. If the scratch is down to the metal and would require it to be refinished, we would give the customer the dealer rate if she chose to have it refinished.
