VOIP Freedom Reviews (4)

March 14th, 2019 I called VOIP Freedom for them to explain why they had access to my banking account and have been taking $34.95 a month for 15 months (maybe more). I spoke with John Stevens. He explained that he did not have anyone by my name in the area that I told him I was from. He then told me that he had another person by my first name with my last name that I have not used in over 20 years! he told me that they would return back into my account, $34.95 each day for 3 days. for 2 of the 3 days the money was returned however, I had to call again to ask about the 3rd day and how they would give me the entire 12 months that they owed me. John told me they would make this account as a fraud and it would go to their fraud department. That was almost a month ago. Now when I try to call I never get a person just an answering machine. I have left at least 6-7 messages demanding a call back and have had no response. The last message I left I did advise them that I was going to the RevDex.com, which I have done. this is a very big scam and they should be ashamed.

I don't even know who this company is I don't have internet are cellphone why have they been taking money out of my account for years where is my money going I need a refund! If anyone have had this problem with this company please txt in and give me some feedback this is crazy in need a damn refund ASAP. Are phone+internet.

I work for a bank. Legally can get back 12 months or you can get your bank to reverse the charges. They would have to prove that you actually signed up with your signature. If the company can not do that then it will be easily for you to do this. I hope this was helpful. Good luck and good bless!

Review: I am representing a resident in a Long Term Care Facility. She is 85 years of age and VOIP Freedom has been automatically withdrawing the amount of$34.95 from her bank account for a few years. The company advertises 60 free trial offer and if the account holder does not cancel after 60 days the charge is applied to a debit/credit account.

I understand this is a legal way to do business but it does not make it ethically right. Especially with elderly and/or with those being mentally handicapped. This business counts on the high percentage that will not cancel after sixty days.

I specifically asked when speaking to a customer service representative if they could provide proof that the equipment needed to set up the service had actually been delivered to the resident on campus. This question was ignored.

VOIP Freedom will credit the account in 3 installments of $34.95 for a total of $104.85. They should credit the account for 12 months at the least.Desired Settlement: Desired outcome is this business stop preying on the elderly and others who do not fully understand the financial ramifications when they get free trial offers. As a nation we should be ashamed of allowing this to continue.
