I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved
I have received a repair to my damaged item, and they have exceeded my expectations by the CEO personally contacting me and offering to discuss this further and by their generous offer to send me something extra When these things happen, I will consider this complaint resolved satisfactorilyRegards,

Review: I ordered a pair of shorts, with other clothing, directly from Volcom's website. A pocket on the shorts was not sewn, so I wanted to exchange them, as the were a new product that arrived damaged. I called their customer service number on the packing slip, during their listed business hours, no one picked up, it went to voicemail, but the inbox was full, so I was disconnected. I then emailed their customer service address, and I received an auto-geneterated response that I would be contacted soon. After ten days, I heard back from their customer service, but only after I posted a negative review for the item on their website. I replied, but have not heard back.Desired Settlement: I would like a simple exchange for an undamaged item. I have probably exceeded the value of the shorts in the time I have spent trying to get a response from them. Due to this, I would also like a letter of apology from the CEO. Short of that, I would be happy to take the current shorts to a tailor and bill Volcom for the work and for my time.
